This is clearly an advantage of a small company which undertakes many difference research task simultaneously. I found that a learn a lot from various fields by working on so many different projects.

PRO allows you to operate in the plant and get significant hands-on experience. You learn how to operate as a team and exchange information between bench scale and pilot plant scale work, and you are responsible for a team of young engineering students. Clients often come by and you must deal with them via e-mail or face to face in order to achieve the main goal.

Working along with experienced individuals gives you the opportunity to learn a lot of things that can't be taught at school.
Management is very flexible when it comes to taking time off and being able to balance your work and life.
