I'd just like to state that Prodigy Personnel is a great place to find a temp job if that is what you're looking for. Excellent service and staff.

However, the job was a little bit too demanding, in my opinion. 
A typical day at work would consist of standing in one spot for 7.5 hours and packaging cereal boxes. 
Don't get me wrong, this job is easy but it takes a toll on your upper body (shoulders/arms/hands) and especially in my case, feet.
When I'd come home from work, I would go right to bed, just to wake up with even more pain. I would take painkillers before and during work but they wouldn't really help for long.

The other staff members were really nice and showed me how to package properly, they didn't let me suffer when I didn't know how to package something properly. 

I eventually had to resign because the pain was intolerable for me but everyone has a different pain tolerance. I'd also recommend this job to those who don't weigh much or who are already fit. It is light packaging but if you are overweight, your lower limbs will suffer.

I liked working here because it was fast paced and the time went by pretty quickly most of the time. I didn't have to work every single day even though I would've liked to, but it was nice to have days when they didn't need me to come in and work, especially during the hot Summer days!
The people at Prodigy were nice to talk to over the phone if I had any questions or needed to call in to get some work. The people I worked with and around at Excel were pretty easy-going and easy to get along with as well. They were hard workers, but could also carry on a small conversation, which kept the job more interesting and a lot less "boring" for me. The days didn't regularly "drag on" due to having interesting and hard working people around me, and a fast-paced job to do. I was constantly moving and working, which made it easier for me to enjoy myself while I was working.

Prodigy Personnel in Brantford is an exceptional job agency that made my employment journey smooth and rewarding. A typical day at work felt structured and productive, thanks to their seamless onboarding process and clear communication. I learned valuable skills like time management, teamwork, and adaptability, which have positively impacted my career.  

The management team at Prodigy Personnel is outstanding – always approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in your success. Their workplace culture fosters positivity and collaboration, making you feel like a valued part of the team.  

While some tasks could be challenging, like meeting tight deadlines, the support provided by the agency and co-workers made them manageable. The most enjoyable part of the job was the sense of accomplishment and the recognition for a job well done.

I Signed up with this agency & they keep wasting worker's time.  They constantly schedule you for work & then cancel your shift late at night, the night before you are supposed to start.  At that point, u cannot take another assignment.  I went in on a day I was scheduled only to find that I was sent an email after 8:30 pm the night before I was supposed to start at 7am & then found out that they purposefully over schedule workers with a promise for work then shaft them the night before.  This happened 4 times & wasted my time as I gave up 2 other job assignments, thinking their email confirmation was honourable.  Most of the people getting hired are young kids & new immigrants so someone should report them to the labour board as they should be obligated to pay people who are scheduled.  Totally unethical & unprofessional. Takes advantage of people & does not value their time.

I've worked for this company with one of their clients in Milton. However, though the agent was helpful initially, the job I was sent to did not work out for me. I then mentioned to her that there was an opening within the company and that I was interested in applying,  but she kept saying that the manager was on vacation.  It seems as if you would have committed a crime whenever you do not stay at the job you were sent to because they shun you and do not acknowledge your calls/messages. Additionally, they do not give you another chance to work for another client. Sometimes the jobs they send you to are not ideal, and it seems as though no one cares. They seem only to care about the client but not the employee. 

I often say some of the employees who get the wrong end of the stick are the hardest working and honest individuals willing to work if they're only given a chance at the right fit. 

I worked at a facility through Prodigy (DHL Warehouse). During my time there, I observed a lack of consistency and respect in the workplace. Dedicated employees continued to work diligently, while others worked at their own pace with little accountability. There was no clear sense of uniformity or shared values. Unfortunately, the overall work culture did not reflect the professional and respectful standards typically associated with Canadian workplaces. Team leaders often let their egos influence their management style, and staff were treated more like subordinates than valued team members. It was a disappointing experience where hard work did not seem to be recognized or appreciated.

The communication is very lacking when it comes to this job agency. In the Mississauga office are about four young girls, who are very loud and distracting in their conversations about everything under the sun.


So far they have never answered my call. Nor does it seem like they listen to the voicemails. They would ask if you're available, then last minute they tell you "something happened, we will let you know when you can work"

I signed up, and never even had the opportunity to work because of the unprofessionalism exhibited by these girls. I wasted 2 weeks.

I love the time taken to ensure I had a good work day each day, and the great care shown from HR!

Because of the staff, at prodigy and the professional manner in which they operate my stress levels were low to none.

Open and friendly, a very caring environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A quick meeting to get all of us on the same page, then we get to work, we have a light and fun day.

I had an interview three times including the agency. There were many miscommunication between the agency and the employment. They both gave me three different salaries. The financial aid position was very mislead and there is a very high turnover rate in that role which the company Career colleges of ontario hid from their employees. This job is work from home but they watch your move every minute and have to report everything to them. This role is very low paid for the work you have to do. I do not recommend because you’re wasting your time. 

Not a place that welcomes new faces - they are very to them selves.
The way they teach and coach people is demeaning. They talk to their employees like they are children and do not give them a chance if they have any unforeseen circumstances come up. 

they trick people into specific jobs because they make their money on placing people there when a candidate might be a really good fit for a better suited position.

I would not recommend this place as an employer for anyone.
