Professional Warehouse Demonstrators

A typical day at work includes standing long hours at a demonstration table serving customers, doing administrative duties for my boss, assisting my co-workers with any questions or problems they may have.
I learned creative problem solving, how to manage up to 25 people when in charge while boss was away, light computer work.
I had to manage up to 25 co-workers when the boss was absent, and I had to take on many of the duties my boss would do. 
I enjoy working with my co-workers most are great people who listened to my instructions.

Cooked and demonstrated food for customers.
I`ve learned the many functions of entering all necessary information to databases.
I learned the essentials of becoming an assistant manager in a very short time. The manager did a very thorough job of training me.
My co-workers were very friendly and understanding when it came to their needs, such as having the proper products for demos and having the proper uniform.
The hardest part of the job was my lack of knowledge I had of the different cultures of the staff that were hired.
My most enjoyable part of my job was getting to interact with the customers and my advancement to become Lead Demonstrator. 





I like working for the pwd I had to leave because I was also attending to school Monday- Thursday and I just couldn't do both. Id do it again in a heart beat if i could.. Friendly people to work with. helpful and really understanding. The hardest part of the job was to stand in one spot the whole time until your break. I learned to get 100 on secert shoppers.. shoppers would come into Costco and go around to the Demo tables and ask question on your product you are serving that day and wouldn't know until manegment told you.

Worked here from 2001-2013,at first it was a good place to work. But when they brought a new manager in, over 25 employees quit, the manager had me working when I had pneumonia and then went into pleurisy. I had to end up quiting, for she was verbally abusive to me and my co-workers. You were not allowed to leave your table to go to the washroom or get a drink of water. Or you would be written up. And I know it's been taken over by new management. But the old management was brutal.

This is a job that is flexible to a certain extent to ones lifestyle.
You can learn all about the products that you demonstrate and how they can benefit the customer.
The management try to keep it fun but it can be tedious at times.
The hardest part for me is being on my feet for 7.5 hours at a time.
The most enjoyable part of the job can be dealing with the customers. This can also be the most trying as well.

This company is alright if there are no other options available. You work long hours standing in one position to serve customers. There is only one break, a lunch break and no benefits. The co-workers are alright but there is a high turn-over so you don't get to know very many of them well . The best part of the job is that you don't deal with many customer complaints, most are happy to get free stuff.

Enjoyablke interaction with Costco members and the job for the most part was very fast paced. Enjoyed being like an embassador for the products I was demoing to people.

Shift are 7.5 hours long.  I learned that I like to help people.  The hardest part of the job was standing for 7.5 hours.  We didn't get much training on the job other than here's how to set up your table.  I loved my co-workers all were willing to help and offer advice when I was starting out.  I love dealing with people.

I enjoyed my time with PWD, it prepared me for my current position as an Event Manager with CDS.
I enjoyed working with the members, and informing them about the different products. I was fortunate enough to be a trainer for them also.

Terrible job.  Could not get time off.  They even tried to tell me I I had to work on the day my notice was given for ending my employment. they had 2 wks notice
