Custodial duties including cleaning of 32 personal suites throughout the Prospera Place Arena  ! Corridors , Hallways , offices , Bathrooms , plus maintenance areas and custodial rooms ! Media upstairs offices and camera / sound rooms ! Event turn around , stage area from hockey to concert set up , all night job duties .

No stress very relaxed but when you get busy your busy

Relaxed at times but can get extremely busy

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Only events so all days are different

I was the only one I knew of to progress up the chain from just conversion crew. Once I moved up things became less demanding I got another job with their sister ice rink and learnt alot when it came to ice maintenance and driving the zamboni. 

a typical day at work would be counting money into till, serving customers, getting the food people asked for and counting money at closing and cleaning. The management in the building was really awesome and understanding, the coworkers where all easy to get along with.

overall fun place to work.  between periods get pretty hectic, but if you are good at your job all is cool.  This team has been this for a long time and know their stuff

I enjoyed working at Prospera Place but now that I am graduated I am looking for more hours while I take a year off to work. I am currently laid off due to COVID-19.

I did the job so fast that I missed the garbage on the floor. and that was why My boss was mad,.I wish the would understand how I worked at prospera place.I wish I could Talk to the manager so I could explain myself.

most of the time there were too many bosses trying to call the shots. And that was quite often. Most of the time, I personally listened to the incoming crew chief being we were setting up for concerts it is their way or no way.

I enjoyed working here and felt welcomed and respected. It was fun. The time went by fast and it’s nice to have such a large space to work in. I was praised and noticed for the work I did.

Most of the job Hours take place during the evenings (8pm - 3am)

Lots of Labor work but the management keeps it light hearted and the pay makes it worth it.
