barely provided me with any training, hired me fully knowing that i had never utilized any of their programs that they use (mind you they use about 15 programs of TD Bank because that is there client) and they expect you to know how to do a case end to end and master utilizing all of the programs within literally just a day of training. their systems are ancient, using windows 7 and half the time my passwords wouldn't work and systems were crashing but NO help from management or IT. let me go on the basis that i was "incompetent with the systems" WITHIN 3 DAYS OF HAVING EXPOSURE TO THE WORK, (2 of those days just watching/shadowing with someone) when i had barely any exposure to them. absolute nightmare and extremely fake management, no warning that i wasnt doing well or one on one coaching, just straight fired. extremely high expectations within days of working there and no time to learn things and ask questions. NEVER WORK HERE THEY ARE PSYCHOS.

First off, training lasts 3 days including legacy systems used by the client. Any notes or material you use in the training are not allowed in the clean room where you are immediately expected to produce. If not, they let you go. Some managers are good, others should not be in that position. You can’t ask them a question as they are too busy. The micromanaging is on a whole other level. So glad I’m out of there. Just was not a healthy work environment.

The company is fine. Your experience is based on who your manager is. If you have a manager who has people management skills, you’ll be fine. If not, oh boy. Mine was knowledgeable but you will be blamed and made to feel incompetent even when your manager made the mistake. I have done AML work at different companies for over 7 years and produced good work. This was the first time I was ever made to feel incompetent thanks to an individual with no people or people management skills. Again, not a knock on the company. Hopefully a better job will be done when promoting people into leadership roles.

The work itself is not too hard but it's project based so the job stability isn't there. The pay fluctuates with the market so it really depends on when you get in. The work environment is terrible as the lockers where you put your phones away is cramped and the offices are closed off so it gets a musky smell. The windows are all completely covered so you do not get any daylight throughout the day. Location is fantastic though, only a 10 minute walk maximum from Union station. Mostly headed by good people, just the environment/office space needs a lot of work.

Bad management and terrible work culture. Micro managing. Rude and unprofessional colleagues. Left within 2 weeks. Micromanaged. Onsite daily. No flexibility. No job security. The managers love scaring you. You’ll be called for one on ones for the smallest thing. Threats to fire you are constant. 0 work life culture. Bad pay structure. 

Work environment is dreadful. Small rooms with congested seating and no breathable spaces. No windows - No flow of air - always feels congestion. Team Leads don't know what they are doing - no knowledge of subject but still think they are correct and act as a SME. Micro managed.

Relaxed work times, you may come in at any time you prefer as long as you get your work done.
Co-workers are relaxed and fun to hang out with. Very helpful people when it comes to helping you out with any work.
Weekly lunches at the local pub.

Good work environment. Little to no politics (people who try to play politics have short careers here). Very good place to learn everything you need to know to push your career forward. Good money.

Unprofessional / Unfriendly management. The salary they promised me to pay when I joined there i was getting less! Thus I decided to quit. Work culture was worst!!

The work was fast paced however the team leads were helpful and overall work environment was hassle free. You do you work and that is it, no unnecessary stress.
