Protoplast

I start my day by collecting sheets from all the stations. These sheets outline productivity, different co-workers that have been at the station, and any downtime. After that my day consists of final inspection of the product before it is packed. Packing the product in boxes and on to a skid to be shipped. Aiding co-workers at the various stations throughout the day.

Everyday I learn different techniques to save time by assembling the product more efficiently. I have learned with experience where people work the best to maximize quality productivity.

Management are all very supportive and helpful. Always an open door system. I also work with a great team of co-workers. All my co-workers are full of ideas how to run things more efficiently. Everyone is always more than willing to help one another. Great team of people.

The least favorable part of my job is the repetition. It is factory assembly work, it can become tedious and physically straining at times.

Acting as team leader, trouble shooting is a big part of my job. I really enjoy solving problems. This is the area I learn the most from during my day. I am also able to use what I learn to help educate my co-workers and help them through their day.

Management isnt supported enough. They need more help than what the owner deems necessary. Advancement is there but mostly empty promises, and employee suggestions go unnoticed half the time. The social club aspect is fun but goes unappreciated by a lot of staff so it almost isnt worth it. Little to no bonuses ever, not to mention usually by this time of the year we would be doing overtime.. but instead we are losing work, collecting ei when necessary, and planning shutdowns more often. (Not the companies fault, the automotive industry is suffering right now all over the world. But we are still affected by it)

What is the best part of working at the company?
Everyone gets along fairly well and they do stuff for thanksgiving Christmas and Easter just to make employees feel good great place miss it but I moved to Alberta

Sometimes the keeping up with timing on machine

It was a good work environment and they hired every culture

Mouse models, including null and point mutant alleles, are generated by microinjection or electroporation of Cas9 RNA-guided nuclease (Cas9-RGN) and guide RNAs (gRNAs) that specify the target site into zygotes.

Founders can be generated in as few as 3-4 months, depending on allele complexity
Any strain background with injectable or electroporatable zygotes can be used
Current protocols include efficient production of indel (85% success), exon deletion (85% success), point mutant (75% success) and short sequence tagged (75% success) alleles.

Although jobs are easy....after 10 years, higher management didn't even know my name.  Supervisor doesn't care about anything except making herself look good....will throw you under the bus anytime.
New people starting will  make a higher wage than you after you are expected to train them.
Mandatory overtime almost every other week.
Only good thing about this hole is the nice people you work with...besides that run!!!

typical day you go to the machine your working on and you have to learn what plastic part you are working with, the management is good there is nothing hard about the job and i love the long weekend barbeques and usually every 4 months you will get 500 if you have a perfect attendant or only 1 day off.

I finished high school and I needed a full-time job so I joined this company. The pay was not competitive to companies closer to me, the work is repetitive and stressful on bodies, no room for advancement, almost always hired outside.
I appreciate the time I have worked there but 
I do not recommend it.

I learned a lot about being  machine operator and quality of parts. Packing and inspection. Got quite skilled at running injection molding machines. I liked my coworkers. The management however and supervisors like to harrass the employees and I didn't agree with how workers were treated there. 

You receive a new task everyday and work with so many different people. I got along very well with everyone who is employed there and it was a good experience to have. One of the hardest things about this usually depends on what machine you are on that particular shift, other than that no complaints!

It's a factory. Not  a people interacting place. You get assigned to a machine  and stand for 8 hrs sorting  and packing parts. 
Very hot in the summer, not too bad in the winter. Mold machines  run at 400 plus degrees and some parts come out very hot. Noisy from grinders and alarms from various machines.
