Material handling work looksa easy when one look at it from out side when you deal with it different story, loading about 12 trucks every day using fork lift canebalizing in the warehouse non stop we are working with tissue product every day it nver stop because people use it every day so the factory has to keep producing so most permenent ones are working slower than new ones, as amaterial handler when i start working i was slow then after i learned using RF scanner and get used to the environment start speeding up even thogh some of the slow ones dont like it but supervisors do like it no raise no promotion no raise for over one and half years temprary pays only $13Dollar per hr. permenent get payd $26 Dollar per hr. how fare is that whenever we have time out side work we discused about it but we have to pay our bills so we keep working till get better jobs, i dont realy know any body from management inthis company, And learned dont satel for less keep looking or emproove yoursellf if your lead hand or supervisor can not see what i am doing.

this company are good., i work here us a material handler( forklift operator) i work at night shift. at the first night of my work, hard for me, because they are going to train you, and you need to famelliarise the warehouse, diffirent kinds products, and beside that the warehouse are so big and wide. will when i work at this company, i learn a lot,, fast drive, fast load / unload fron the trailer, your safety, safety of your co-worker. the management are always train, reminds, inspect, and looking the needs,and  safety of there employee., and also clean and safety of the company. for the co-worker all good, always teamwork.. and lot of fu... i learn a lot from this company.

•	Loaded and unloaded pieces into boxes for shipment.
•	Promoted shop safety by working in a safe manner.
•	Packed one line efficiently and accurately in accordance with guidelines and schematics.
•	Served as an effective safety steward by reporting problems and attending safety trainings.
•	Swipt the floor and stored equipment at the end of each shift.
•	Stacked and piled lumber, boards and pallets.
•	Followed the rules and the procedures to maintain work environment in a neat and orderly condition.

New opportunities  and different experiences 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Night shifts, however I know what I was signing up for, it is challenging but doable.

The work environment is extremely clean and organized,  temperature workers are seen on a lower level from others

Well I go to work and do what is required of me

It was a great opportunity for ascension and inclusion in the Canadian work market, for me it was a great school where I had the opportunity to acquire great experiences and for that I will always be grateful to everyone there who welcomed me even with the difficulties in adapting to the English language. It has some negative points in relation to benefits and salary, but I liked the work environment and I have many friends there even after I left the company.

Leave you alone . Easy to get a hold of

Under contract. No back bone. Often not up to date on companies that they contact the drivers too.

Very nice people to deal with. Pay check is always on time. Uniform allowance

Dedicated run. Straight forward work , unless a breakdown . Weather related delays

This was a placement outfit for drivers who couldn't or wouldn't find an trucking firm.
 They had total control where they would send drivers. Usually some less reputable companies.
 They would take a cut of what they charged the trucking company and pay the driver the rest, most of the time I had no idea of how to base my pay rate.

I would leave from Cambridge On on my dedicated run to the greater Detroit area to unload and reload then return to Cambridge. I learned to help others as much as possible and it was always reciprocated. The culture here was fun and laid back. Waiting to cross the border at Sarnia ON/Port Huron MI. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting and interacting with new people on a daily basis.

It was a temporary job that i took as full time. Had diversity of people that built character. Was under contract but no incentive of promotion .Had no benefits. vacation pay came off weekly deposits.no time for yourself at times especially when on over time  streak. Other times slack when work scarce.
