It’s a great place to work, you must know how to juggle high work pressure and people’s egos and expectations. How to navigate different office departments and the shop. I found this to be an exciting challenge. 

Learned a lot about processes and gained technical knowledge about millwork and how complex it can get. A great learning experience. 

There are a lot of passionate people here who really care about their work, flare ups were common but quickly forgotten. Team was always there to help you get to the finish line at the end.

Working here for so long it had become like a second family. In the end I was denied an ongoing benefit and that soured the relationship quite a bit. Still thankful to PSF for my first real opportunity in Canada. All the best to them.

Never really liked working at this company. I think they never appreciated how much work or how hard you worked. There was always some form of favoritism between the employees and there was no engourement from the person you reported to or your co-workers. No warnings before terminating or no real reason for termination. I thought there would be reduced hours due to the Covid-19 pandemic but there was no such thing. I feel like there is no room for honest employees in this company.

This is a very toxic company to work. The management does not care about employees. They provide subpar benefits where you need to share the cost from your salary. Management is very cheap. The shop managers shout and yell at floor employees in front of everyone, yet management does not take any measures. If you are related to the owners, then you are safe here and can only survive. There is no respect for employees. They do not count any feedback from the employees, rather they only trust their managers. They provide all ESA minimum benefits. Stay away from this company, they are not worth your service and experience.

While working at PSF I have had the chance to grow in a healthy environment that has a lot of integral individuals to create a functioning business. While working here I have observed the compassion from the higher management team, and founder. Even as an entry level employee I feel comfortable enough to talk to any of the team members. The products that PSF creates are of the highest quality which contributes to the pride the team has. 
Its a great place to work Respect is given both ways and the company has long standing employees that have worked for over 15 years. 

Like all millwork companies, there are challenges and stress. At Provincial if you are willing to work hard and put the hours in then you will be rewarded. Benefits and OT are good, and the lead hands are very experienced and wise. 

Lots of experienced cabinet makers have been working here for over 20 years! This is the place to be if you want to learn about architectural millwork and cabinet making. While the work is demanding, it is rewarding once the job is complete and we see the final product. There is room to grow in the company and management always encourages it.

This place was anything but stress. The staff was good but the management had mood swings which made it even more stressful working there. No encouragement, No help and no guidance as to what you are doing over there or what is expected from you.

No trainings provided at any cost. Whatever I learned was either finding out by myself or with the help of a colleague. 

Very bad management. Too disorganized work place. People keep leaving and coming like crazy. Not thing to learn to upgrade skill-just very simple stuffs-not for cabinet makers. No work life balance. No fair place to work. No raise policy or you have to fight for it. Poor culture work place...too bored to work here...

Working here has its up's and downs but I can really see myself growing with this company. People are friendly and helpful and you feel like you are apart of one big family. 

Sometimes there are stressful days but what job doesn't have any stressful days. I can see a path to becoming bigger in this company, and they are helping me get there. 

I learned a lot from the Lead hands and just started the Red Seal Apprenticeship which the Company is supporting. Everyone is friendly and we all respect each other like brothers. There is regular staff events and I like staying for the overtime too. They prefer to promote from within so I can my career developing here!
