What is the best part of working at the company?
The cross functional colleagues are nice and team members are very capable.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The leaders are horrible. No respect to the subordinates whatsoever, endless meetings, 12 hour working under high stress environment, constant OT with no pay, and still, employees get yelled all the time. Give unreasonable workload with no  resources. Manager does not provide guidance and only push to complete work. It was an extreme toxic environment to be in. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Challenging and extreme competitive. Conflicts between global and local team. Office bureaucracy everywhere. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Minimum 4-6 meetings a day and endless follow ups after working hours.

On the surface, Publicis looks like a great place to work. It's also got a well known name, which is a bonus. But be prepared to fight for a living wage and to work like a horse the entire time you're there. It's not a great place for creativity, and you will often work overtime without compensation. Benefits are great and some of the people are phenomenal, but the turnover rate is pretty high due to improper recognition, either in terms of salary or advancement.

This company is teaming with narcissistic leadership that lacks talent, character and compassion.  This is clearly an organization of half wits that simply want to keep their jobs.  They are not able to adequately solve problems, are poor communicators, incapable of intelligent client interactions, not supportive of their employees or teams, and have a limited understanding of the fundamentals of basic billing and revenue.  I am very fortunate to have escaped this incredibly incompetent and ruthlessly shameful organization.

Like most agencies (I hear) their world is really changing.  I have seen many changes and sometimes it is good and sometimes the needle swoops downwards. I think a lot of young people like to have this agency on their resumes as I have noticed they all leave within months of working there, up to 2 years.  Great parties and functions to make people happy. Even dogs are allowed.

Publicis was a great place to work full of young creative people. The state of the heart facilities were located in the heart of Toronto. We worked on exciting commercial projects for major International clients. There was a great team feeling at Publicis.

Did a co-op here during high school. It was my first go at a job in corporate. The management was great at getting me started and helping me learn things along the way. 

Everyone is very nice and supportive, you can learn a lot from them. All benefits start on Day 1 which is pretty great. I just wish they paid more since it is just enough to survive.

I truly enjoyed working here. Throughout the year I was awarded well for my efforts and received several promotions. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to start out their career in Media Advertising.

Great Company to work with. Excellent culture. However, everything depends on your team. Some teams are flexible are awesome to work with while some teams have micromanagers.

The agency is made up of great people, but leadership needs to learn how to value them. The clients are exciting and fun to work on, there is a lot of opportunity to learn, but not a lot of opportunity for growth.
