When I first joined this company, many people in my shift were throwing parts away which is not allowed.  That should tell you everything you need to know about the company.  Still I worked there for a year, then made a mistake and rather than comparing my mistake to my excellent overall performance, this company would have me fired, so I quit.  Had I not learned anything, this company would have been a complete waist of time.  It is fake CNC work because the CNC lathes only run one program; there is no setup or blueprint reading.  Don't waste your time, work anywhere else.
My favorite is the audits.  They will find some kind of fault then blame you for not complying.  The thing is they provide no CNC operator rule book for the dozens or hundreds of policies they observe.  If you are lucky you will be fully trained on the machine and on quality. 
The supervisors have a fundamentally impossible work load.  They need a 2 leads hand and supervisor for all shifts.  One for CNC, another for press.  Only then can they erupt out of ridicule.  Lots of mandatory overtime which was good for me.  Why would anyone want to work with a company that has so much BS, and that never has your back and is ready to fire you.   At least the CEO is great.

Worked there for a short period and overall experience from work and life balance, HR support when concerns are brought to their attention was very poor and did not address root cause of the problems present. 

Maintenance department was not structured and lacked basic system and order seen elsewhere in manufacturing setting. 

This is a systematic problem that Magna has failed to address and correct employee misbehaviour in charge of a department such as in maintenance and HR. 

•Manufacturing lead for one of the Critical Automotive Transmission component involving set of machining operations after welding processes.
•Responsible for equipment ordering, proving out equipments at vendor location and finally producing PPAP components at our place for customer submission. 
•Provide manufacturing feasibility analysis, cycle time studies and capacity studies for upcoming projects.

They had an employee training me who couldnt speak english. The environment was great to work. Often a lot downtown due to the press machine defaulting. Pay is adequate.  Sometimes i felt like there is discrimination at the job sight, felt uncomfortable so beaware.

an automobile industry  with all the car manufacturers as the customers with long term contracts.The way way you are treated is very exceptional.A fast phase place with so many different types of jobs in which you are accountable for what you are doing.

Sad place, bad management, low salary, lots of workload, confined space, the more you work there the more you hate it, other than the co workers this place is as bad as it gets.
