I Accepted a job offer for this company just prior to the current pandemic/ obviously not expecting the situation to become what it has. Continuing to try to juggle a young child being home, finally requested a temporary leave of absence in order to secure child care, due to the closures. The HR department and management, (particularly certain members) seems to be under the impression that they are above the law for starters, and secondarily that they have some authority to make personal decisions such as whether you should leave a young child alone. Needless to say, LOA not granted, job lost. I would personally not recommend this company to anyone, as they showed their true colors rather quickly. I am very disappointed with how I was belittled and made to feel regarding circumstances beyond my control. I continued to work, where others chose to discontinue immediately. "Honesty and effort is the best policy", not for this company... 

Thank you Pure for creating an even more challenging situation in what has already become overwhelming and difficult circumstances. 

Companies who treat their employees in this manner and punish employees for their honesty and efforts are what leads to poor work ethic and lack of accountability. When you make a person fear the consequences of being honest, and belittle them for their efforts, lack of respect tends to reciprocate.

They employed lazy workers that did not work.  They respected them way too much and pushed the good workers to work even harder. I did not feel respected cause they liked to gossip more than they worked. The management  write me up with out talking to me first in person. I did wash my hands in the washroom before going to work, but the orange soup they had outside the sinks was too strong for my skin and it made my hands red and manager refused to change the soup. Also it was very cold on the cucumber line and if you covered yourself with a hoody she will fire you. Working 8 to 10 hours on the same line on the same cold spot was not easy. They did not care if you get sick, they did not even have any benefits if you get sick only after 1 year. The manager needs to change the way she does business and to care more about her workers.

A lot of good workers came and left during my tenure with the company. Just about everyone on the floor are good people. There's a huge disconnect between middle and upper management, maybe by coincidence or design. But the disconnect and lack of communication necessitates a toxic working environment on the floor, and unnecessarily creates a stressful atmosphere. Very deceptive personalities will tell you whatever is necessary - for you to get the job done. Nepotism and affirmative action is rampant, prospects for growing with the company are bleak. Human resources has one of the most shamelessly anti-worker legal frameworks I've ever seen in business. General day-to-day practices lack many scruples. Not the best company I've worked for.

Micro management is the order of the day and ongoing reluctance to make decisions. Ok if you like someone telling you what and how to do your job constantly. Removes the pressure of having to make decisions on your own however no matter what if it goes sideways you will be thrown under the bus.  Preference is to waffle and hope situation goes away before one has to make a decision in case it is the wrong one. Tendency to promote "yes men" as opposed to seeking competence and imagination to avoid disagreement on direction even if wrong.

My experience with this employer was overall positive. The team fostered a supportive and collaborative environment, and I appreciated the opportunity to develop my skills and contribute to meaningful work. Management encouraged open communication, and colleagues were respectful, helpful, and committed to achieving shared goals. The company maintained solid operational standards, and I valued the professional experience I gained during my time there. I’m grateful for what I learned and wish the organization continued success.

A typical work day at Pure begins with being told you're not good enough, and that only those in the office area really matter. This includes management, HR, Sales and so on.
The worst part of the job is management. They are constantly blaming everyone else for their shortcomings, and have decided that they will take away all our overtime pay so that they can increase their salaries.
The hardest part of this job is dealing with management yelling at employees.
The most enjoyable part of this job is the people I work on the packing line with.

The company is an equal opportunity workplace where hard work is usually noticed and rewarded, to a certain degree. The people that I work with are generally hardworking, professional and pleasant to deal with.  The hardest part of my job in particular is the responsibilities that are usually handed to me that are not a part of my role on the management team. The most enjoyable part of my job would be the work pace. It's fast and consistent making the day pass quickly and makes me feel accomplished as I complete multiple tasks.

I worked at Pure Hothouse for over 2 years..there is a lot to say about this company. 
First off, It is run very poorly, HR threatens the people that work there, and they let a lot of terrible things slide, due to the fact that the can't get anyone to actually work there.
The hours are long, and draining. You can work as hard as you can, and still no one will appreciate what you are doing.
This place is filled with drama.
The only pro is that I met some really great people, and lasting relationships/friendships.

As a fresh graduate right from University Pure Flavor has provided many opportunities to learn and develop my skills as a professional. The pace is quick, but the support is endless. The team is very inviting and diverse, at all levels within the organization which is very appealing to this young professional.

Nice place, cooperative environment, safe and secure place, all team members supervisior, hr , all staff nice .  Product quality  great.  Provide benefits and safety tips to all employees on time when they think they should provide to employees . Holiday pay also provide to employees. At the end i can its nice place to do work over there .
