What is the best part of working at the company?
The co-workers are great and easy to work with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having a head office team that is micro managing every aspect. No flexibility, thinking outside of the box is not appreciated, no communication or collaboration. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Working with the team at your store or any store is great. 
Head office tam is creating a difficult, non flexible, work environment. There is no company culture. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Dealing with customers, placing orders, training new employees, answering phones, receiving orders, answering emails, consultation in regards of products and health concerns.

I enjoyed the consulting aspect- recommending supplements to customers and the training opportunities to learn more about professional supplements. I enjoyed moving around different locations to meet different teams and co workers however some co workers did not contribute to a very nice culture and head management was very poor and disorganized. They also expected a lot more than they were willing to compensate for. Did not provide appropriate training to perform the duties they expected which was basically a a manager role without the appropriate pay. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Staff discount, supporting the community, connecting people to their health needs and providing information 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of support, company NOT following own policies regarding abuse in the workplace. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
In the beginning it was enjoyable collaborative and peaceful.. became strained and not enough for the pay received 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Put positive energy into the day, was enjoyable.. but then.. no appreciation or acknowledgment for hard work commitments or loyalty.

Pure Pharmacy is a great place to start your career, they have friendly and direct management. I have found that as an organization they notice talent and move them into higher positions fairly quickly. I really enjoy all my coworkers and enjoy the work environment. My only negative is that the pay is not incredible. I couldn’t live alone on a single income making what they pay, so although it is great it isn’t where I will end my career.

Working at Pure was a great experience where I felt like my natural health knowledge was valued and respected by the pharmacy team and customers. My location had a great team. Head office communication isn’t always the best but it really depends on the person in the position. Overall nice environment but can be challenging to manage so many things! 

Training can be more consistent for all the stores.
Flexible work hours and many locations available.
Great teamwork, most consultants have a holistic nutrition background. Learning from each other a real benefit 

I love the fact that this is an integrative pharmacy.  Culture is very inclusive of various healing modalities and management is open and welcoming of ideas and suggestions from staff at all levels.  
Free product training (with great gifts from the reps) and generous employee discounts.

Can be busy and fast paced, but time goes by quickly. Great customers and co-workers. 

Always learning something interesting.

Opportunities for testing skin care and supplements.

The management team is terrible. They will never give you a raise unless you ask. No matter how hard working you are, you’ll never receive any recognition. The manager will pull you down so they can control you. They have high turnover rates.

Pros - Excellent staff discount, free products, amazing co-workers, access to retailer education.

Cons - Head office seems to be focused alot on numbers, things happen very slowly. The pay could be better.
