Management says they want inputs, but then either don't listen, or don't care about inputs. Evaluation of job performance is unbalanced comparatively  depending on what part of the warehouse you work in and which shift you work on. Turnover of staff is unusually high. Tough to build a team spirit under those conditions. Great products, reasonably good working conditions, overall about a B- rating for job experience. Wish management was better at listening to workers concerns  without fears of retribution.

Purity Life used to be a family owed company and was recently sold twice. Ever since that happened there has been several people let go due to restructuring.
There are a lot of people still there that shouldn't be and some of the people let go were the wrong choices .
The most enjoyable part of my job was a couple of my co-workers that made the day pleasant, we had fun while getting our work done.
The hardest part of my job was knowing that myseld and one other person had the majority of the work load and the others in the office had a lot of free time on their hands and were being paid the same amount of money for doing less than half the work.
Management was not present enough to see what was really going on in the office and due to that some wrong decisions were made on who to let go and who to keep.

Horrible management as most say.  Our sales manager if you want to call her that has no business acumen nor any qualities as a leader.  She will set you to fail but it is not her fault as she is a failure herself.   She is a bully and intimidating and has had the highest turnover of staff.    Senior management turns a blind eye and is busy jet setting the world as opposed to running the business and caring for their staff.  Laid off workers with years of experience to hit their bonuses.  Managers show favouritism and disregard for those who are not in their good graces.  High school bullying culture and antics.  Stay away from the sales department and their one manager who is never at work and always blaming her team for his foul ups.

So higher management needs to look at their managers of departments. What managers talks about employees and ex employees and says they are rough or degrade ppl on how they dress. The work environment is toxic and upper management has no clue what’s going on in their department or even understanding why great hard working employees leave. There is no life work balance. So much backstabbing and no room to grow as managers hold you back. 
Upper management you want a great company start with looking at your managers and what’s really going on In your departments. 

Purity Life is a great place to work. I enjoy coming to work every day. Management is very approachable and supportive, many factors are in place to improve the employee experience (RRSP plan, education and fitness reimbursement, employee pricing, etc). Staff gets recognized for their individual role in the company's successes. Work/life balance is respected and encouraged. I really feel I am part of a team, not just within my department, but within the company itself! I feel we all do our best to to support the mission, vision and values here at Purity Life.

I worked for this company for 5 years and it was the best place I ever worked at.

The Management was great and they really did look after us well. 

Benefits and perks were great and compensation was in line with industry. There is a lot of career progression which is encouraged at all levels which I liked. Lots of employees working in the warehouse progress in the office If that's what your looking for. 

Don't even waste your time in there it is a very negative place to work and the employees that work there are very mean and grumpy and they go to HR for everything. The Supervisor favors people in there and the want you to follow CORE VALUES personally people that are running it should follow that rule first. They will even get rid of employees that have been working there for 20+years. Don't even bother wasting your life there you will become GRUMPY like the rest of the people in there.

I worked at Purity Life Health Products as a Co -Op  that was required while I was going to College, This job gave me experience, I did inventory control and customer service. The people I worked with were helpful, The hardest part of the job was getting enough to keep me busy, I also did timecards for the pay schedule,

Great place to work as facility is clean and modern. Lots of great perks/benefits. They invest in technology to make job easier. Free fruit in the morning, on site massage, RRSP program, free supplments, great discounts on products. Safe worknig conditions. Would of stayed but family was relocating.

Worked as a warehouse employee. Very clean building with newer equipment. Temperature controlled (AC in summer). Very safe place to work. Good company culture.
