What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress, good support team from dispatch to shops to wash bay to administration.  Good team.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Down to earth friendly even safety department !

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
900 km average 2 pick ups and drops. Expect to put 13 hours a day on average. Most dispatch issues co.e through on company issued phone, hardly any person to person communications.  Lots of podcast listening.

Shop and office were constantly trying to drag each other down. 
Husband and wife both work together here. Despite the assurance that home life and work life remain separate, you still know you're the subject of topic at home if one or the other isn't fond of you. 

Changes need to be made and never will be, but someone will come by yearly and get everyone worked up and excited about the next big change. Then nothing will happen and a year later they'll do the same thing.

The employees are quite good to work with though some employees are negative and allowed to continue in an unprofessional manner.

The Senior Management Team are lacking. One manager in particular is very unprofessional and lacks the ability to communicate in a friendly manner. This manager will explode and yell at employees in front of others and treats women in a demeaning fashion.

Employees are expected to work overtime with no compensation and are also on-call at all times.

Like the headings states wages need improving. It’s not unusual for the wages to change once or twice in a year without notice. If you’re on the road for stuck for repairs with no-load or a reset there is no compensation. It’s hard to get a hold of dispatch even in emergency situations. Newer under powered trucks but old trailers that constantly need repairing. 
Qline in the past was a great company to work for. Today they’re desperate for drivers so anyone will get hired on the spot. Good luck if this is your choice. 

Office is rank with Nepotism combined with a lack of training and procedures. Husband wife team makes things very difficult for all staff, the wife especially as she controls the husband who is a manager. If you are looking to work for a company that makes promised but gives no training this is the company for you then. Even after assured that work and home are seperate. This office has no direction, or teamwork due to the mis-management and bullying of employees to keep them down.

Poor Management, untoward leadership and lack of teamwork

Extremely toxic, combative and lacking structure 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Days were never typical, always on the defensive waiting for the next proverbial shoe to drop

They hired family instead of compitent people for dispatch.

Promoted foreign workers before qualified.

Left drivers sitting for weeks and even over a month on the road cause office didn't buy permits for oversize.

Took away salary pay and switched to mileage pay because driver cost was too high from all the sitting on the road.  Didnt want to give you time at homr cause you sat out on the road cause the office people didn't do their trip pre planning

Trip planning  no support when need information nobody gets back to ya

Extremely frustrating  and stressful

Hit and miss some days are awesome then your left holding the bag

While I was an O/O I found their rates low for the work I did. However when I became a company driver my wage was better than I made as an O/O. Office is like most, some great people, some good and some that really suck and shouldn’t be there. Reg was an absolutely incredible boss to me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I learned a lot and went places and hauled things I never thought I’d ever haul. However, life makes changes and so I had to leave. 

If your left with the same dispatcher you get the rapour  with you would do great. This company needs to watch what there office staff are doing make sure they are doing there jobs. On another note when you quit they stop paying the advance at the end of the month leave you without any income until the following 15th of the month, they don't care that the mortgage isn't going to get paid on time.
