What is the best part of working at the company?
This is the worst office I've ever worked at in my 30 years of office experience.  The finance group is terrible and treats staff as less than dirt. The staff turnover is huge, as no one enjoys being yelled at and constantly told you're not doing the job good enough or fast enough . Mistakes are not accepted and will never be forgiven. Very few new staff make it to 3 months because the stress and disrespect within this group is an abomination in this century. Please do not quit a job to work here, you will regret it instantly.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You are constantly waiting for the manager to think of the next thing to scream at you for, you never know when you will get screamed at. It's like being in an abusive relationship.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Terrible in the finance group. The worst I've ever seen. There is no group culture, it's everyone for themselves because the fear level is so high

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stress and lots of crying. Frustration and low self esteem. Being constantly afraid of being fired, for no reason.

They pay much lower than industry standard, and have been experiencing a “wage freeze” for the entirety of 2024. Afaik nobody has gotten a raise in a while, and they aren’t happy about it. Very relaxed shop, good place to learn with some very knowledgeable guys. The pay & benefits just don’t make up for it in the long term though, they’re constantly asking more and adding responsibilities but never compensating to match. Management is reluctant to help further your career, “paid sick time” is 3 days a year (that are accrued, and don’t rollover to the next), vacation time is paid out per paycheque, among other weird policies they have. 

Since joining Q2 in December 2024, my experience has been incredibly rewarding both professionally and personally. Working in Head office has given me the opportunity to contribute to meaningful processes that directly support employees and the overall success of the organization.

What really makes this role stand out for me is my team. I’m lucky to work with such a supportive, knowledgeable group of people, and I truly couldn’t ask for a better manager. I always feel encouraged to learn and grow. It’s the kind of environment that makes it easy to enjoy coming to work every day.

My overall experience has been positive. I feel valued here, and I’m really happy to be part of the team 

This place is a joke to work , no matter what the concern is for, the joke of management says they will do something about it and they won’t. I brought up many safety concerns and they were totally disregarded because it would cost money. Management is a joke and the way the owner treats the company is very 1990 , wages included no matter where you work in the company. Bonuses? Ok 🙄 benefits-very basic blue cross. If you work in the pump shop , expect very sporadic hours and constantly being screwed over by the manager , everything is their discretion wages and bonuses . There is absolutely no appreciation for hard work here .

Lack of communication between management and staff

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Clique and cold. Was hard being new and not feeling welcome. Felt like high school all over again

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
My days were busy and productive and I always new what needed to be done.

Working at Q2 ALS was very challenging, the company may seem polished on the outside but internally the environment is very toxic. Leadership fosters an environment of fear rather than support, with favoritism and undermining morale and productivity. Bullying is allowed and goes unaddressed, in fact its promoted. Communication is poor, transparency is lacking.
Heavy workloads and huge expectations, especially because managers and supervisors are classified as exempt employees. 


I began working for Q2 after my company was absorbed through an acquisition in 2025. Since coming on board with Q2 I have met and worked with a highly competent, friendly, welcoming, and supportive management group that is always looking to improve and mentor growth to drive the company forward. 

Manufacturing and warehouse staff are a pleasure to work with and excel at their positions. 

You are not valued nor respected here. The management is very inexperienced and probably the weakest leaders I’ve ever seen. You will not get raises, good benefits or any perks here, you will be treated as less than a number. The safety is non existent, root cause analysis is something they do not and the culture and integrity is nothing but words they put on a banner. 

Very friendly people and I feel well supported with any questions or concerns I raise. During my time here I have moved through different departments and learned lots with the guidance of the supervisors and managers over the years.
Q2 is the best business I have had the pleasure to work for and is continuously growing so there is always plenty of work and opportunities.

They don’t care about you at Q2 and treat you like garbage and less than a number or just another replaceable asset the people you work with are all ignorant and will insult and isolate the new employees and will often find yourself being harassed or challenged to a fight if you stand up to the people your work with.
