It's an okay working environment but they need to care more about their employees and pay them more. They are not just numbers on a paycheck!! Working here, I learned that sometimes you just have to take the blame for things even when its not your fault and try not to be upset about it. 
Management is okay but at the same time can be the reason why some employees leave the company. They are not always nice to deal with or talk to. The company is diverse but in some of the departments, there is not much diversity. It almost seems that there is a certain level of favoritism when it comes to particular cultures.
Moving up in the company is difficult as some employees have tried and have been pretty much overlooked or told no.
Whether you choose to work here or not is up to you but here is a few pointers:
* Don't accept less than what you know you're worth
* Make sure you get the respect you deserve
* Don't let anyone here walk over you or make you feel like you are unimportant

A typical day at Quik X Roadfast Transpotation is a day of answering phone calls, emails. I minimum of data entry needs to be put into the computer. Canadian and U.S paps paperwork needed to be done for drivers going out to the U.S. Fax and prepare all paperwork for the following day. The most enjoyable part is being able to learn how to do new things day by day with new customers which will help our company grow.

Look to achieve the most from their employees. Upper management set on money only but lower management is good. Provides good training at least they did. Dispatch could use a few lessons in the laws governing the industry

This company does not care about their employees. The work environment is so toxic and the employees are treated poorly. They do not pay overtime even if you have worked more hours in order to finish your work. The management is not approachable and when the problems are addressed, they take no action whatsoever. The overall culture is not welcoming at all.

Good starting point into employment but not somewhere you would want to stay forever. You have to learn things by yourself for the most part and there was a lot of 'old guard' mentality when I worked there. Executives & Management cared more about their bonuses than they did for their staff. Nepotistic. Very corporate.

An evening job. I learned a lot in data entry using company's in-house system. Time management is number one. My co-workers were all pros and very quick. The hardest part of the job is when we finish early, I go home with lesser hours too. The most enjoyable part of the job is that I got familiarized with so much places and their locations in Canada.

The management does not know what to do. The coworkers are not willing to cocoperate 
they backbite everyone.
Do not even have basic etiquettes of talking sanely to Drivers and owner operators
They do not give respect to truck drivers and owner operators even abuse their consigners.
Individuality is more important than team working.

- Great management team very supportive and always willing to help and work around your needs. 
- A typical day on the dock consist of loading and unloading freight at your own pace no one hassling you or watching over your shoulder.
- Very friendly organization

Quikx dispatch not driver friendly as compare to roadfast dispatch, Quick garage supervisors were totally unfriendly and rude.
Not adapting with new demographic changes. People working in Admin. for so long are spoiled with attitude.

I had a hard time with the hours. Midnight shift is hard to do. The paid ever went up. The Management was hard to work for at the time I work there. The only thing I got out working there was that learn a few new things.
