Quintex is an incredible place to work. The commercial laundry business is a busy and competitive one! There are many people involved in the uniform process, everyone works together so one needs to have a 'team mentality' or they won't succeed with this company.

It's a sales driven organization, so working together and being aware of your surroundings is crucial. New businesses pop up daily, and with only one other major contender in town, you need to be perceptive and incredibly responsive with your customers. You also have to be very patient when it comes to contract end dates - sometimes it's a 5 year wait until your next opportunity to compete arises, so organizational skills are a must.

Cold calling is a huge part of discovering new business. Sometimes meeting 20-30 new people per week can be overwhelming, but if you're driven, organized and outgoing then it becomes something you look forward to doing each week.

The two best parts of the job were seeing all the businesses behind the scenes and also when a new customer's life was made so much more simple because of the new program you set them up on.

Working a 10 hour day took a little getting used to, but I quickly LOVED having 3- day weekends almost every week! There is a great team dynamic and everyone really cares about each other. The company is family owned and values doing the right thing especially when it comes to the environment and finding customer solutions. You can actually talk to decision- makers! There are frequent meetings and newsletters to keep the whole team informed about goals and successes. There are lots of opportunities to volunteer in the community and there are staff appreciation lunches/ bbqs, I even got to go to a Jets game with my coworkers! Hard work is expected, and everyone gives 100% There may not be much 'down time' but it is a place you can be proud to work.

Location is good and close to bus routes

Management is demanding and does not care for the well being of its employees 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone feels like zombies and management knows they can pay minimum wage as most employess dont have the skills or proper language abilities to find better jobs

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get up extreamly early and work in a hot sweaty environment with no air conditioning

A high school dynamic is the best to describe Quintex. You have to be clicky with the right people or it’s bad. One person leaves they will just had you more and more work. Owner is either ignorant or oblivious to how management has been running his company. It’s too hot to be there constantly. COVID-19 was really questionable taken care of. Heat stroke and heat exhaustion was met with laughing cause you were supposed to know it was hot every year. Sound levels should be requiring hearing protection but it’s never mentioned. Good luck moving up in any way. 

Dave Quinton is an awesome boss. Unfortunately his management staff is lacking in experience.  They talk down to you. When you have a problem they never answer the phone. You handle it yourself they then have something to say. The plant management is awful. Employees are actually scared. They make poor decisions. When things go wrong they blame someone other than tthem selves. there self's.

Great place to work with great people. The company prioritizes people and the work that is done has a positive impact on the community and environment. I have worked many other places and this has been my favourite by far. I would recommend this company to anyone wishing to be part of a team who helps each other out and enjoys a fast-paced environment, impactful work, and long weekends. 

I had a somewhat good experience, Though it was like working with adult children who could clean up after themselves in the way that making a mess in the most extreme way, and to mention the "men" Boys, couldn't hit the toilets when using the bathrooms. I had to beg to get cleaning supplies and listen to constant attitudes, when trying hard to ignore and do my job as I was asked. This job was basically making up your own routines..

4 day work week is perfect for people without young chilren. Fun, family-oriented atmosphere. A relaxed and engaging workplace with hard-working and supportive coworkers. Family-owned, local company. 

Decent enough place to work in the office, but unless you match up as "one of the gang", you aren't going anywhere. Close, tight fit management group who like to give themselves extra benefits/perks such as box seats to hockey but don't share at all with other staff.

It is a good company with a work culture based on respect and family. They respect and value your effort. They are based on communication, humanity, care, and encouragement. I feel at ease working there because they always allow us to communicate.
