RAYACOM PRINT & DESIGN

When I first started working at Rayacom it wasn't bad, but the ownership shifted, causing management (which is in BC) to become distant from the 2 employees at the SK location.

Having been hired as a graphic designer, my tasks were answering phones, accounting, processing orders, updating clients, and a bit of graphic design. Most of these I had no experience with prior. It was very overwhelming.

My job title often changed and my responsibilities were unclear, which made it difficult to understand my roles in the workplace.

I was told I would receive various benefits during my time with Rayacom, many of which management never followed through with.

After being an employee for a year, I felt unappreciated and undervalued.

The management team is very disorganized, lacks leadership and offers little to no direction.  Poor communicators. They overwork you and underpay.  They have a very talented team in production however the lack of leadership lowers morale. 

There is potential in this company however I think it will take years to get there, if they get there? Both merged print companies do not have the best reputation in the industry.

Very poorly managed company. I was hired as a Graphic Designer but virtually expected to be a Collections Agent, Janitor and Property Manager. Equipment was rarely if ever maintained. The amount of disrespect and spite from the head office was incredible. Product going out the door was often less than acceptable and a serious s**t stain on the quality and integrity of my abilities and talent. Run, don’t walk away from any affiliation with this company. 

Been an employee for 5 years. Great pay if you prove to be worthy. Learnt a lot from directors directly. They share how to be successful in life. Management is always available for any kind of help. Owners are always there for help in professional and personal matter.

Workplace culture is very good, huge growth potential. Started with admin and built my place to the top in the company. If you have potential in you then this company will let you redeem it by giving you all opportunities.

Its a great work environment and a great team.   We have trruly become a family.  My own Issue is that the job advancement is not to where I want it to be.   But i will always remain with them in some capacity because of the freedom I can have and love working with them.

*Friendly people to work with but there's not much mentorship.
*Salary isn't that great neither and sometimes we're over worked.
*Job culture was ok can't complain.
*Benefits weren't that great neither.

This is a Nepotism operated company. The management skill level is pathetic. Multiple safety violations. Low income and expected to cover many positions. Overworked. The equipment is old and is in need of upgrading or replacement. 

Great printing company but not a lot of room for career improvement. I have been working there for 4 years and I haven't been promoted. I have retained the same position with little to no incentives for advancement and bonuses.

Its a great place to gain experience and interact with a ton of different businesses and business managers or owners. Because you have to do door to door sales and hear no so much it also builds your confidence.
