There are days during month-end, quarter-end, middle of the month and year-end when it gets especially busy and we have to stay late to complete the work
As we process transactions for various departments, we get to interact with people from different departments who appreciate our work from time to time

This is a very attention oriented role/department. It is really important to ask questions to clarify any issues or ambiguities.

Management is really helpful and provide everyone with support as needed.

It's a very good work atmosphere with lots of potential to learn from others and the move forward with one's career.

The most enjoyable part of this job is learning from all of the intelligent industry professionals in order to develop as a professional.

When I first started working at RBC, Investor and Treasury Services,  we all worked hard and often late into the evening, it was fun knowing that the management was available to help and assist with issues and we were also given dinners and taxi chits to get back home safely but in 2010 the MGMT changed and it all went down the hill, it was not longer fun working, the work place became unbearable.

Good place to work,  i am passionate about helping people retire with greater financial security.  I believe in the strength of modern defined benefit pension plans.  I thrive working in a fast-paced environment in a growing organization. I love to work with a dynamic and highly engaged team of talented professionals who are making a difference?

A great place to work at all levels of management. Being a part of the RBC Financial group, this organization offers excellent growth opportunities for talented individuals at all levels. This was easily one of the best placements; I learnt a lot from my bosses and co-workers and built enduring friendships.

The new CEO is disconnected from reality and what matters, not giving any credit to the product teams who actually create products for clients. Morale is at a low and overall not a good for people working there.

Work life balance is good in general

Great experience at the largest bank in Canada.
People are focused on getting things right the first time.
Disappointing outdated systems but there are initiatives underway to evolve their technology.

The mistreatment of employees is disgusting. A lot of newcomers to Canada are taken advantage of and management kicks their feet up and takes credit for everything, while the Fund Accountants do all the hard work. This is not a place to grow your career and you're also severely underpaid.

Lots of opportunity for growth , fast pace environment, positive work culture where you will learn a lot. The hardest part of the job is the fast pace and the long hours . Sometimes work life balance is difficult to obtain.
