Have had to cancel vacations, been called in on days off, received very passive aggressive emails. Have had to work long hours to prepare for visits from company executives; seems to be more focus on what the executives see as opposed to what the customer sees. Employees are tasked with handling situations that involve theft such locked carts as customers try to shoplift which I firmly believe is wrong and puts employees in danger. Demands are extremely high considering the labor that is allocated for departments. Very stressful especially during the holidays.

Decent company, unionized, managers will guilt trip you into covering shifts if someone calls in. You may be thrown in a different department if no one showed up for that, including physical labor departments even if your job doesn't normally involve that. No set schedules, very few managers willing to approve time off.

Constant gossip and inappropriate behaviour from management and staff ,toxic was perfumed bombed by a management member: was never provided tranning when requested . And they have absolutely no hr and no communication skills to speak of there is no communication between mgt and staff they are like a private club “ the bowling team “is what one of their management members referred to them being

RCSS was a great place to work. the management was on top of everything and us as employees ensured that we did our part to make everyone's lives easier. The friendly environment allowed us to work efficiently and quickly and so our parts to help each other out.

Not a bad place to work. Hours are not that bad. I spent four years with them, and it was alright. It is easy to move departments within the store. Mt store management needs a little more work, but it was a good start into Big Box retail

Good place to work in a mostly professional environment. Management can be hit or miss. The worst issues are caused by people who work for the higher ups, aka people you’ll never meet or step foot in the store. 

Enjoyed working at RCSS, it can get pretty busy and overwhelming, but the coworkers are always there to help. I've learned to be a quick learner and become patient when it comes to customers.

its a great experience to have actual full on training of the ins and outs of the grocery business. it just sucks when renovations get stalled and disorganization happens

worse schedule and manager take advantage of you by forcing you to do other jobs other than your profile and if you say no, they will make up things and force you to leave
