A great example as to why large corporations and medical care do not mix. They care less about the patient and more about what their wallet looks like. Management is usually chosen based on "who you know" vs. selecting a strong team lead with the proper business qualifications that might actually be able to help the company grow in the right direction.
 A position within RHS may look promising with security, and opportunity for growth... but has been known on more than one occasion to hastily terminate employees with no notice. RHS has a high employee turnover rate, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why. The benefit packages are good.

Working as a data entry clerk was a great experience and I would highly recommend it for those who enjoy repetitive tasks or office jobs. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and always willing to help each other when work volumes get high. The work hours are optimal, I was able to be at home between 4:45-5pm every day without fail. The building is kept very clean, with spacious work areas, beautiful furniture, and modern technology. I have no complaints whatsoever about my time spent here and would happily apply for a position in the future.

I am a current employee at RHS and have been working in the sleep/respiratory field for more than 10-years. I can say for certain this place is unique with a very strong corporate culture. The best way to learn about the quality of this company is to speak with an existing employee or ask an RRT at a hospital. The strong reputation is earned and despite the crazy growth, the culture remains strong. Like all places, there are things that can improve, and I do see leadership working to continuously improve employee engagement.

The experience working with RHS in Calgary, has been the worst, the management is so uncouth, toxic and plays favorites. The worst part is that HR is not even interested on what you have to say, so they are just there to protect the management and most of whom are not well educated. The workload is enormous, they expect you to do so much, without appreciating your work and grossly underpay staff. I do not recommend working here, especially if it's in the Calgary office. There are also no opportunities for growth and development.

Management always encouraging, supportive and there when you need them
On call is a bit much but you get use to managing the issues and then it's a piece of cake
If you like working alongside professionals and dealing with the public this place is great
I appreciate the support you get from the company especially when delivering product to client

3 years working with RHS really brought the best in me. I love the work atmosphere and most of the people who work here are here because they care for patients and patient care quality in general. Working here is nit easy if you dont have the passion for helping people. They dont stop improving and as result everyone grows.

In the years I've worked at RHS I've found the more passionate you are the more you will get back from this company. A lot of employees here really do care about their patients and their co-workers. 

I get to work in an environment that allows me to grow as an expert in my field and enjoy my family at home.

It's a good place to work for and get your feet wet in the medical field. Lots to learn for sure and everyone is super friendly. There is no room for judgement in this place as everyone is always willing to help. They have company paid activites and lunch and learns. They teach you almost everything you need to know about the work you do.

This company is not what it appears to offer all.... majority of the healthcare professionals in the GTA have been laid off to cut costs and staff selling, maintaining and setting up medical equipment are non-clinical secretaries with NO formal healthcare training.   I worry for the oxygen patients especially at this company
