Always getting told what you are doing wrong with no solutions to problems, never any positive reinforcement, everyone is quick to blame instead of finding answers, and you will NEVER be listened to by upper management if you aren't good at stroking the egos of the higher-ups.

Don't ever expect to grow there. Once you get really good at your department, they will just get you to train someone else so that they can move you to another department to start fresh again. That's their way of saving themselves the "trouble" of increasing pay. The only way you could ever expect to be promoted is if you start with the company already promoted because there are no internal promotions; it's all outside hires.

When I first started there they had a lot of promise. They had a leader that knew what they were doing and promoted a very healthy, communicative, and positive work environment. Then they sent him to the warehouse...

Also, health and safety are not taken seriously over there at all. Even safety issues that require quick fixes have been sitting unattended for years. If you do end up working there, make sure you know where the fire exits are, because they don't even bother posting the map anywhere (and there have been small fires started there due to the fact that the roasters are used more than the safe amount of times per day).

The people you work with there are amazing, I must admit. Most of them are always a joy to work with. With that being said, if you value your health and you want to work for a company that values you and allows you to grow within it, this isn't the company for you. Look somewhere else...

Favouritism was clear ! They painted a picture of an organized , up and coming work place however it was far from that. Office is very unorganized and hectic . People don't take their lunches because the place has no proper procedures and specific customer service reps are nosey and overstep their role and boundaries . Furthermore I did not sign up to have to clean the show room daily because I was new , if anything it was degrating and not part of my job description when hired. Managers favour certain staff and allow staff to be bullied by certain individual and not address the issue. Best thing I ever did was leave this place !

Company managing about 7-10 individuals depending on business of year. Managing 2-3 order pickers, 2-3 forklift drivers, and 2 delivery people keeps main part of day busy, ensuring timelines and orders get processed and maintained. Ensuring freight costs within budget to US and Canada, for LTL, TL and updating costs through negotiation and fluctuations in fuel. Ensuring adequate space and product rotation of expired product is maintainted.

HR has favoritism and order flow is chaos. Lots of back orders and cant keep up. Maintenance leader talks bad about workers behind their backs. Go ahead and ask the workers themselves. And once you've given everything to them they will fire since you have no use to them anyways. Definitely no room for growth. On the other hand, Father and son owners are nice to people.

I was able to gain a lot of experience working for Reunion Island, and for that I am grateful.  I was able to learn how to plan daily routes, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fill out weigh bills, and shipping reciepts.  The office staff there is fantastic.  I was responsible for loading and unloading my truck, collecting payment, filling out receipts, and all aspects of travel (fuel cost, mileage, repairs needed, etc...).

Worst company I have ever worked for! Unprofessional and unorganized. Management is laughable at best. During my time here I consistently dominated best production numbers ever for the company but was laughed at for my constant drive to move up in the company. Save yourself and find anywhere but this place I quit and got a proper job for my knowledge. This place is trash

Job was easy enough, co workers were ok,but the HR has an Ego, and her favorite thing to do is threaten and bully people, and they work people hard for peanuts! I see failure in the future because they can't keep up with their big egos and can't fill orders. Happy to be elsewhere!!!

Reunion Island Offers one of the best working environment and most enjoyable and clean place for employees. As a salesman I enjoyed interacting with clients and horned my social skills. Opening brand new accounts was the highlight of my day.

I found management’s negligence toward employee’s issues. But the co-workers were very helpful and friendly. A thorough knowledge of machine will be helpful for a machine operator.

The leadership is a joke. No responsibility is taken when actions occur. Employees are frustrated with the lack of leadership and support 

HR is a joke - very judgmental and unsupportive. You’re left feeling worse if you try to bring up an issue
