What is the best part of working at the company?
There is definitely a strong desire to use the need in various companies for temporary labor to provide work for those not yet in full time work.  It brilliantly fills a market niche that helps many desirous of finding a spot in the workplace get started. They are successful in doing that to the best of their ability and within the limitations on demand for temporary workers in the real world market place. If I gained any benefit above and beyond the daily paid positions that fell my way, unfortunately on a 'not always' basis, market demand already noted, it was that of getting up early in the morning and getting yourself geared and ready for an opportunity that might come up, and that discipline alone helps prepare on for the work place.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not always getting work, making it harder to budget on a weekly basis.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Excellent.  Staff are positive, supportive, and I am struck by the generosity.  Gear is made available at the lowest possible cost, and sometimes free, if I think of the pairs of essential work gloves that I have been given.  I've watched the boss come in with a box of Timmy's and provide transportation to the worksite on more than one occasion. The R in Rhino stands for respect, and I see that carried out as policy in the interactions of the staff.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
For myself, a 'typical day' is going to vary, simply because one will be sent out onto a variety of worksites all depending on the skill level. The one common thing I have noted is that the companies they contract out to, at least the ones I've been to, have managers, where they do expect you to fulfill the task given, do so in a respectful way, and that has impressed me. Some jobs would be classed as menial, but from the other side of the scale, I see a selection of folk, howbeit mostly guys, and I am not sure if it's intentional, who have a good work ethic regardless of the task put in front of them, and this not only also impresses me, but it makes for coworkers, because more often than not one is not sent out alone, easier to work with, and from whom one can learn, especially when the job is new.

Came in to the office on my first.day at 6:00 A.M.[ as advised ]  and signed the registry..I think I was eighth on the list..The people before me were all quickly given placements..After those individuals 18-20 others came in and received job placements..By this time I felt certain I was wasting my time  
                      The two employees at the counter seemed more interested in ignoring me than finding a job placement  for me..I
have heard and  read that this was a common occurrence with new workers        
                       Please take heed  of my experience and consider your alternatives There are plenty of other company's besides rhino....

Recruiter listened to my needs and got me placed at 2 very good companies. I was offered jobs at both placements and took the best of the two.

Tip : treat each placement like a real job not a temp job, have a receptive attitude, be honest and work smart.

Loved the flexibility of working for Rhino when it came to family or other appointments.

Great for introductions if your introverted or not social.

Pretty consistent this year, mixed work from general to skilled labour. Be prepared to work extremely hard some days depending on the job, if you're good the site employer will give you something better and give you follow up days. A huge factor to repeat getting work is whether you have a good attitude or not. Great if you need money quickly (same-day) and are prepared to work for it. Only complaints are how early you have to be there 5:30-6am, but it's expected as most jobs are 7-3:30. And the pay I'd say is fair, not the best. 

Overall not bad, great option if you need it.

Working for Rhino over the best couple years has been a great experience and the relationship with management is very good as long as you maintain a positive retore with them. They find work that suites the individual and sometimes they call on you for something out of the ordinary like swamping but the joke of the office is good for the moral. All around great company to get experience and adventure.

Working for rhino Labour I was able to get experience in demolition, brick laying, cement form stripping, garbage organizing, freight organization and distribution, installing perimeter drainage systems and so on. I am confident that I have the basic skills set to do any type of labouring job I come across.

Rhino Labour is one of the worst temporary employment in Victoria if you show up right at opening hours there's a big chance if they don't like you, you won't get the job site I have never met a business that judges by the way someone up appears and that shall determine if you're good enough to get a site or not. And if you have made under the legal amount for the year they still try and tax you try and talk to you

I work almost the whole summer with them, I had a great bond as I was a good worker and if my vehicle wasn’t available they would drive me to my job. Very good people that take care of their workers. I wish we had more of those companies here in Ontario

rhino in victoria is run on favorites no matter what your experience is you go there at 530 in the morning and waist half your day to find out your not gonna work or only end up working for 4 hours plus they have the lowest salary out of all the temp agencies in victoria
