What is the best part of working at the company?
Loved the hours, very good benefits , pay, the bosses, loved the job.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Always training somebody. New people all the time, machines breaking down, disorganized, 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Sometimes stressful, people not always nice, people wearing earbud to listen to music. People not coming into work, always short handed.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Taking orders what to do for my shift ,lead hand,responsible for other co workers in department, setting up machine, filling shaker with hardware, getting orders done, driving forklift to get stock down from racks for models that was on my list to do , doing reports at end of shift.

It's a good job for quick money but the management is horrendous and plain mean. I knew of a girl that worked there diabetic and was hassled for spending more than 5 minutes for a bathroom break because insulin doesn't take that long. Expect to wait sometimes over an hr to get to use the bathroom, to be told the line is more important than you when you mention you're not feeling well and if the line stops even due to another person the supervisor will walk up and down the line telling everyone the manager is going to come down and yell at us. Just generally a stressful environment and you can tell management enjoys the power. 

i worked up until two days before my union entry . Showed up for work friday only to be told i was laid off. was at work till 230 day prior no one said a thing to me. had left thursday to attend a neuroligist apointement. i did not miss any time during my two months employed with drake . I had made a request to drake to see how my progess was with ridgewood . they hired me on no questions asked . 

    on the day i was layed off ihad asked the HR person how come some type of pre indication this was coming. she said and i quote " oh we cant do that". and here i sit no job not sure if ill be able to draw ei. trying to get life on track only to be proven right again .

10 years ago this was a very good workplace.  Once they allowed a couple of brothers make management decisions it was clearly "power trips" on their behalf.  Honestly how they are still employed after all the negativity they brought into the plant amazes me and most employees there.   They forced out people that knew the business and created an environment and culture that makes the place unbearable.   I wouldn't wish this on most people.   How the company allowed this to happen amazes me.  I don't recommend this place for people looking for work.

The people not the managers. 
The work itself was fine but it felt crazy everyday.

My managers didnt know how to treat people properly

Work was fine but after that I have no comment. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
 never knew what we were doing that's probably why they closed their doors.

Our team of well experienced members are a pleasure to work with. Teamwork makes the DreamWorks.

I embrace all stress as a learning process .

Your team is only as strong as each individual.
To be successful you have to motivate each other.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Every day I learn something new.

A typical day is starting a machine with your partner, working together in a safe work environment. I have learned how to cope with long hours, steady fast-paced work, and it was really enjoyable. MY co-workers were very nice and pleasant to work with. The hardest part of the job was adhering to every task the boss said, when some of them were close to impossible for some co-workers. Due to my health and shape, I was able to overcome some of those tasks.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part is that the supervisors are very good at teaching you get the work done and they teach you to learn the job faster.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing at all everyone was friendly and work as a team.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly and team workers.  People help each other when they need each other's help getting some jobs to be done together

I really liked working with machinery

Management was not professional at times, no HR support

Not always organized, very dirty and messy place to work, but I liked the running of machinery

Production work on a drill or an edger, producing a good part

Friendly supervisors and workers.
