It’s project work. You’ll work a crazy amount of hours and then get a layoff. Very high turnover. The work is hazardous and hard. Be prepared to sweat from places you can’t sweat from.  2hrs wearing two chem-suits inside a 40 degree tank standing in 3ft of chemical that’s about 50 degrees breathing 30 degree air, about a half cup of sweat in each glove and boot per rotation inside.   Inside the tank itself is a nightmare! Can’t see, can’t hear, breathing under air.  Met some great people. You will never have all the information you need.  Great money.  Promised three weeks of work, got 11days; every project was way shorter than initially told.

I worked with RJ Maclean during the 2022 shutdown season. This was my first job working in the oil fields so everything was new to me. I had a good experience working with them they provided all the training I needed to do my job safely and efficiently. We worked together as a team and also independently at times. The supervisors were good mentors to me and helped me build my confidence to take on new challenges of my occupation. I am curious to see what 2023 has in store. If you are interested in starting a career in the oil fields this company is a good company to apply to get started on your journey.


What is the best part of working at the company?
One of the best companies I've ever worked for.  I'm only sad that it was only a turnaround and I didn't get to stay on board

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress here.  We'll run company that actually  believes in the safety process 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very strong professional relationships, good communication excellent company

Worked on two separate shutdown type jobs with this newer but family oriented company. Very caring company that recognizes hard work, safety and effort. Gives credit where credit is due.
   Lots of pump monitoring. All equipment is advanced and state of the art making the labour load alot less than other companies that do same type work 
   Very safety oriented oilfield type
 company. 
   Very long hours out of town and camp like job.

Family ran company so if you don’t get along with one of the 10 family members the whole work force don’t like you. The most clicky job I worked for in my life. Great pay and job tasks were enjoyable. But walking on eggshells to please every family member becomes too stressful for that reason not a healthy work environment. 

This company is brutal....only cares about its self and the absolutely disgusting job you need to complete....brutal upper management and constant lies to employees so it can reach it'd goal....junk.company wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy 

Working with them, I would say it boosted my confidence, and it was fun working with different nationalities, and everyone's different perspectives. Most of my superiors we're respectful, polite and lenient; overall, it's a healthy environment workplace I have experienced in my work history.

Worst company to work for. If you are not part of the cool kids you don’t get any respect. Uses the phrase “Positive and support work culture – this is the Company everyone wants to work for” to get people to apply, but have zero respect for you as an individual. Definitely not a supportive work culture. Treats people like nobodies and is very hypocritical 

Great company to work for. Supervision was friendly and very helpful. It was a good learning experience for me.  Be prepared for long days and hard work. If you're not wanting that, you're looking in the wrong industry, imo. Best cleaning company I've worked with in Canada. 

A poorly managed company, an unfriendly working environment, a dishonest company culture, disrespect for the place of work, do not recommend it to anyone, and stay away from this company
