With many projects often occurring at once, I have learned how to manage tasks in order of priority.  In addition, I have had the opportunity to wear many different hats working at RNS which has allowed me to build confidence within my role and continually seek new avenues for growth.

While the pay/overall compensation for the role feels like it ought to be a bit more, I have gotten to work with some great colleagues who have been incredibly supportive and friendly throughout the journey so far. This has helped me to feel a sense of belonging within the company.

The skills I have acquired and the learning experiences I have encountered over my time here so far have been invaluable.  

It is clearly apparent that a concerted effort has been made over the last year or so to improve the overall workplace culture which seems to be paying dividends; the general company atmosphere appears to gradually be moving in a positive direction.  A hybrid work arrangement for office employees also contributes to a decent work-life balance.

I feel very comfortable reaching out to my management for guidance, while at the same time feeling as though I have a say in various project and process development related decisions and pathways.  Management has been exceptionally supportive of my own growth and development.

Overall, I am quite happy working with RNS so far and would recommend it to most- especially for anyone looking to learn some new skills and broaden their portfolio in a dynamic environment.



What makes this company so amazing already, and with so much potential for its future, is the compassion and dedication to quality home health care that each and every one of our exceptional care providers and support staff bring to work every day.
The past 12 months have experienced a return to pre-pandemic processes and systems, yielding continuous and consistent improvement in operational KPI's throughout the organization from service metrics to employee retention to overtime reduction... achievements that improve client service quality, better staff morale, and increase satisfaction across all our valued stakeholders.
Can RNS improve - always.  Is RNS dedicated to improve - absolutely.
The care and respect so many staff at this company hold for its clients shows every minute of every day, and I'm so proud to be a part of this team. 

I began working in in the middle of the pandemic. Coming in during such a chaotic time, I was definitely thrown into the deep end and faced some tough challenges including leading the orientation for new hires with almost no notice. However, I’m grateful for the opportunities I was given to learn and grow through it all. It was a time of constant change, but I believe it helped me develop a lot of resilience and problem solving skills.

I do feel that the company could benefit from more focus on employee appreciation. HR led initiatives around recognizing and celebrating employee contributions could be stronger.

Overall, I’m thankful for the experiences I’ve had and the professional growth I’ve achieved.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It is professional, they have resources 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Alot of internal politics. They just take their work and throw you away. Human resources director is the worst, he doesn't even know how to talk. Very rude and arrogant. Work culture is toxic. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic and micro managing, they say they are helping and there to help and adapt but they just don't help that much. Too much work pressure wand work load and no help and the salary is not good enough 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long travel, hectic work with constant bugging and then long travel back

They do not treat their integral staff with any respect and send their PSWs and nurses out like drones to complete tasks as they seem appropriate but ask any management to do anything themselves and you get scolded for talking back. Very condescending management staff, rude coordinators, no proper following of policies and procedures. Won't be surprised if they go out of business in the next coming years. Only staff applying here seem to be as a last resort because they need a job. Everyone gets hired if you show up.... 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Considerate Client Care Coordinators.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress. I am enjoying every bit of the job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very formal and accurate. Clients and Workers are treated with Dignity. Issues are resolved promptly as needed. The company is very supportive. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Handful as there are lots of clients that need Care. Good for me cos I get a day off after a handful day.

I actually enjoyed my time at RNS. The hybrid model worked well for me. Company strives to provide work life balance which I really appreciated.
I worked in finance and my team was exceptional. I learned a lot and my seniors and supervisor was always supportive.
There is definitely room for improvement in some processes and compensation rates. I believe RNS will make those changes with time.

Team is friendly and my coordinator was very helpful and friendly.
Poor and awful adminstration.
Uncertain schedule and change the clients every week.
The pay rate is low and they refused to pay for some visit with unexpected reasons.
On the one hand, they decrease my weekly hours due to the shortage of clients.
On the other hand, they hired new PSWs for our area. They decrease my weekly hours form 50 hours to about 30 hours gradually and with this trend, they made me to resign.


Liars. Condecending VP. Can't keep anyone in HR for very long. Demanding   Double up on work but no raise    Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Very large turnaround in employees.  Left a very bad taste in my mouth. Surprised they're still in business.  CEO is completely blind to all of this. Company went to tatters and employees were and still are miserable since the VP came in last year. Nasty condecending 2 faced lady she is. Beware staff and clients of RNS .

The advertised hourly rate is not $18, it’s $16.50. They make it out to be by counting vacation pay and vehicle allowance. In the short period I worked there I was driving up to 30 min to different patients homes. I received less than half what I spent on gas. The coordinators are sneaky by giving you hours you didn’t ask for and sending you to cities you asked them not to. It was a constant struggle working with them.
