My time at Rangeland was some of the most enjoyable in my 18 years in the oil and gas industry. The Management genuinely cares for their staff and strive to improve their systems and standards while providing a open work environment. The eagerness and energy level of their junior staff supported by the experience and knowledge of their more senior staff fosters a comraderie that I wish existed in my current work place.The company on a whole works hard and plays hard! The social functions are legendary and numerous!
The owner's generosity is beyond reproach.
I would not hesitate to work for them again should the opportunity arise, and I recommend them to all who ask "Where's a good place to work?"

There are more people that are related working there and not!
Some of the long time employees are extreme bullies and get away with it.
Management(family) that do not have the skills for the position want you to hand over all your knowledge so they look better. 
No policy and procedures. Though they want the staff to create it for them.
Lack of communication.
Turnaround rate is excessive.

Creating Piping Standards  and setting design standards for the Company.
Designing Plant Layout and reviewing overall Plant Design to meet special criterias.
Management have their own culture.
Some Co- workers were deligent.
Hardest part of the job is getting co-workers to meet the deadlines.
The enjoyable part of the job is the meeting the deadlines and the appreciation functions.

My time there was short but met some very skilled and knowledgeable professionals. Would recommend this as a great company to get involved with. Would welcome the chance to work there again.

No gated structure or unaware of EPC engineering principles driving schedules, very typical of a small RD firms.  Provide cut-rate, bargain basement Engineering for Clients willing to work on a Cost Plus basis.

Management makes up the rules as they go along, dictated by some pretty big egos.  Favouritism runs rampant.

This is the best company I ever work with.  With good pay, good people, good location and good working environment that I will never forget that the time I work there.

This was my very first experience working as an engineer on contract. I have remained on contract ever since. I really enjoyed working here because the owner of the company does a great job of making the workplace feel like home

Exceptional people are being let go during this downturn while incompetent friends and family of the owner remain in key positions. We lost a great Manager who tried to do the right thing by laying off one of these family members. He paid for it with his own job.

Great owner, good management. Great work/life balance. Company does a lot for their people. Work hard and play hard. Worked there 7 years and definitely don't regret it. Reason for leaving unfortunately was lack of work due to bad economy.

No secure the job
4days work sent home , paid whole month hotel . 
This company not ready for hire worker.
If you don’t mind , not secure the job , no bad, but you should ready loose money .
