Racism, backstabbing (from management and HR), verbal abuse, harassment, public ridicule, serious lack of safety protocols, intoxicated shop workers, and being set up to fail are all norms at this company. When the owners heard of OHS was going to make a visit, they said they would tag out all forklifts (they were not correctly maintained).  Overall a gong show. During company BBQs, the owners son was the first person to stuff his face - zero class, and serious lack of awareness from the owners group. The office was poorly maintained, and many people had allergic reactions to the dusty environment. Also dust fell from the vents in your office. There was no remorse as the owners felt like you should be grateful for having a job. Disgusting. This company is the definition of the Peter's Principle.

What is the best part of working at the company?
This was a company that run by those bad apprentices before. politics and bullying and treated like an idiot is a must !!.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everyday as you are under watch by people that doesn’t understand respect 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Worse  and terrible as you are always being watch by watchdog of the manager,supervisor,leadhands and even labourers 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Nothing at all whatever accomplishments you did those watchdog will take the credit,politics and bullying is their expertise

I had a great manager but I have now heard he sweeps the floor...so sad. Had potential to make a mark in the industry but have come up short. HR person spreads lies and will stab people in the back when given the chance, she know all the ways to get rid of people. So sad because now I’m in the industry that could of used their services but I go out of my way to avoid this company at all costs.

Love the freedom, scope of work and experience you can receive, but the job security if terrible. Doesnt matter who you are or how long or well you work their you are at risk of losing your job. Management has a good heart but terrible at maintaining work for employees.

Poorly managed, no direction, its a family owned company but trying to play in the big leagues that way does not work, not trust, bad vibe.  Mistakes made are lessons that never seem to get learned. The people there are great.

The work is hit and miss, lack of leadership, operation management is all over the board, no structure in management, you can be let go without notice. Backstabbing is a way of life there. Pay is ok if you live in the 1990’s. The don’t follow the rules that they set out.

The shop was dirty and cold,it was poorly run  and poorly managed very little shop equipment and virtually no stock to get anything built.The shop manager never even bothered to introduce himself.

Management has no respect for employees. They will almost go out of there way to make sure their employees were unhappy. Next to no benefits with well below average wages. 

Was a good place to work, the engineering department was very capable. unfortunately the salary compensation is not the best. People  are very helpful.
