Rattlesnake Point Golf Club

When I worked at Rattlesnake it was many years ago now. I'm sure it has changed alot. I just remember everyone having a great leadership qualities and we got out tasks done quickly and afficiently because of it.. it got crazy sometimes doing the job I had ther which was a banquet server. So sometimes we would have to put parties together super fast then host the party, serve the party 5 course meals with alcohol always rounding tables. And then taking them 8 late at night to finish getting ready for the next day. 

Working at rattle snake is a great entry level job if you would like to work in the food industry as a chef. There are many opportunities to grow within and the co workers are very friendly. They give you a free meal for every shift you work which has a bunch of options from a salmon burger to fish and chips, even tacos depending on the season. The hours were very long especially when it is busy and it is often short staffed since people call off work often. Note that when it rains it is not busy at all and the job is a seasonal position. You will not be working through late fall, winter and early spring. 

• Oversaw and executed events taking place at the golf course including meetings, tournaments, weddings
& etc.
• Supervised & assisted in the setup of events according to the BEOs & tear down • Oversaw the execution
of the food & beverage department within the event
• Coordinated with other departments of the golf course to ensure timely for the event ran smoothly
• Worked & communicated with the conveyer of the event to ensure they were satisfied
• Wrote event summaries for future events on comments of the event & completed billing for the event

The hours were long and inconvenient, somtimes having you work one day from 1pm - 11 pm, and then waking up at 4 am the next morning so you can work till 1pm again. And within that time i was not given lunch breaks.

An unreal staff. Everyone is on the same team with the same goal. Scheduling was great as well (part-time). A perfect job if you're into golf and/or want to learn about golf. I did not have a bad experience while I worked here. 

My manager at the time was great, but their higher ups were very disorganized. A very demanding job, working anywhere from 10-16 hour days with no breaks, and little benefits. Great summer work. The tournaments were fun to work and I loved my team!

Daily responsibilities included: preparation of members' golf clubs, maintenance of driving range facilities, power cart detailing, fulfillment of member requests

everyone there is nice, employers and golf players. they let you work independently and at your own speed, you just have to keep in mind that you have to finish what they tell you to do.

Fast pace environment requiring lot's of communication and teamwork. Supervisors. are knowledgable and helpful. Occasional free food and discounts on meals.

While working at this club, i learned various new sills that i am now able to apply to my work life. I also felt very welcomed while working there as everyone is treated fairly.
