I worked at this company, and unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly negative. The management, especially my direct boss, was disorganized and ineffective. There was a lack of leadership, and it felt like the team was often left to figure things out on their own with little support. My manager's behavior was erratic—there were times when he seemed to laugh maniacally, which made me question his professionalism and state of mind.

The work culture was far from inclusive. Most of my coworkers were older and often grumpy, creating an unwelcoming and uncomfortable atmosphere. There was also a clear clique mentality that made it difficult for anyone who didn’t fit in to thrive. This was especially evident when seniority dictated who would be assigned unfairly to on-call shifts, while others, like myself, were left in the dark.

I also faced issues with the Parts Manager, who was rude and unhelpful, creating even more tension in an already stressful environment. The lack of communication was another major problem—when I was out sick for a week, the way I was treated upon returning was cold and disrespectful, which made it clear that they didn’t value their employees' well-being.

Additionally, I was discouraged from asking questions to a coworker who was the only visible minority in the office, which felt like a direct violation of basic respect and professionalism. There was very little diversity in the workplace, and it felt like that was part of the overall unwelcoming environment.

Overall, I do not recommend working here unless you enjoy an environment of poor management, cliquish behavior, and a lack of respect for employees.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Friendly and respectful atmosphere. Friendly staff and management. Work is work and family-time is family-time. The two do not intersect. Pay is pretty standard for the industry. Perks through cell plans, reduced rates for gas diesel, benefit plan is industry comparable as should be expected. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It's seasonally busy or seasonally slow which could be overbearing to some.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Monthly/bi-monthly Social committee perks. Not a high stress place to work though deadlines are governed and in place.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
walk in at 8. leave at 5. Do what's expected and be prepared to being surprised and unprepared. Sometimes things just happen, but there is always a support system and cross trained staff to engage in all tasks.

Great group of guys in the shop. Parts could be a little frustrating but that’s everywhere lol. Pay was very good with the monthly incentive bonuses. Significantly more than the shop I came from. Had I started my trade working on Case equipment and did not have some health issues I most likely would not have left. The company has a good amount of group events, gifts and a good sense of community. One con I did find was how separated the shop was between trades. There were people there that I had never met and it felt like the different trades (construction, Ag and truck and transport) kept to themselves unless you were on the same side. If you’re a road tech and want lots of OT, work for these guys. All in all it was a good experience working there. 

It is a terrible place to work if you middle management. You are micro managed by upper management that has their heads in the sand and do not understand the different demographics of the customer base in Saskatchewan.
The hours are 24/7 with a salary the minimum wage looks good. If you need time off for a family problem “good luck” even thou you have put in enough hours for 3 employees in a year.
There bonus structure has you set up to fail so you never will reach the top tier even if all the stars aligned. Unless you are part of the “Old boys club”  you get your bonus.

The big loads the bigger and heavier the better to haul or towe

Hauling heavy equipment dealing with day to day stress

I was hired to work at the front counter in the Parts Dept. I had 15 years experience in parts. Parts Manager decided to take an inexperience warehouse worker with no parts or customer service experience and put him at the front counter and transferred me to the warehouse where I had no experience and ended up injuring
myself. After that I was left injured and unemployed with no benefits except for EI.

I started out as a receptionist for Redhead Equipment in 2013 and was able to move around in various roles (Accounts Receivable Clerk, Business Manager & most recent Administrator of Branch Services). I have enjoyed each position I've held and been grateful I've had the opportunity to grow within the company. 

Redhead Equipment is a excellent place to grow your career. Employees are trusted to make decisions and shape company programs without being micro-managed. The company also has a good benefits program which is quite flexible, meeting the needs of employees in all walks of life.

Steady Monday-Friday 8-5 with lots of after hours in the summer.
Work culture is good people like to help you out here all you have to do is ask.
Hardest part is being on call all the time once your in a service truck no balance between work and home, because of that reason the pay is unfair and not worth investing the time at the company.


Lots of lunches and activities but when it is time to work you need to roll up your sleeves. Individuals who care about doing a good job seem to be successful and grow with the company.
