I loved this job and for a long time i felt a great sense of purpose and opportunity. 
it took me awhile to get a hand of the job since this was a much bigger company than most places I've worked at but I loved the support I got from the managers.

but I was expected to work more ours than what I was paid for and the compensation was not that great + there were no tips for managers and couldn't even get time off to deal with medical issues. and there's no point in having benefits if you can not use them. 

so I left

The day as a service assistant starts at 9:30 a.m. where you should organize everything for lunch time, which is the busiest time during the day, and have everything ready to provide the service. At 11:30 you must be at the entrance with the uniform well organized to attend the guests and place them in their respective reservations. Then you should help in the kitchen to take the food to the guests and finally collect the dishes, organize and clean the public areas for the next shift in the night.

No one is a jerk, and while there might be moderate teasing it is all in good fun. Everyone is welcoming and willing to teach you how to do something new. It is a nice place to work. However, like with all restaurants, shifts are long, almost exclusively spent on your feet, and if you want more shifts you have to be willing to work on holidays and friday-sunday as those are the days that we generally get the most customers.

I enjoyed my time working at Red's as a had and made friends there in my co-workers and felt welcomed, however the system in place at Red's left the brunt of most work to land on the shoulders of the people in my specific position. With little to o improvment or change over my time there it grew frustrating.

I have worked here for several months but not for so long since this was not the job in my field. But people who work here have got mindset of professionalism and collaborative to each other. I am sure you wouldn't be disappointed as long as you are ready to handle some physical duties such as carrying heavy objects like beer kegs.

The morale is just so low, managers don't want to help you or give you any positivity at work. Whenever management does something wrong, the blame the FOH staff and punishes them. Once management changes, it would be a better place to work.

Typical workplaces,there are good and bad things, work ethic I believe is important here. There are incentives, and employers work with your schedule if you are up front about what you are looking for

The people that I am working with here, including my boss are great people, however, the management sucks. They are cheap and I think all of us are underpaid given the workload that we have to accomplish everyday. Line people usually don’t get breaks too which is another con.

A typical day at work for me was busy. It consisted of taking reservations, greeting guests, seating guests, and assisting with serving when needed. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to interact with all the regular customers on a daily basis

Unorganized, zero communication from upper management, junior level managers extremely over worked. Just a very frustrating, upsetting environment to be in.
