Take charge from reliving guard with briefing & receive site keys.
Read pass On notes in book & note in dairy that's important.
Check the site Fire Panel CACF room normal check for any alarms
Check the desk messages and note that's important.
Check the daily reports of other guards and sen to Management Check the resident's work requests done by super and followup.
Be very hospitable and polite with residents and visitors.
Communicate important issues to Regal Mgt & CSM  for advise. 
The hardest part will be to attend all types of people at the desk by multitasking without much delay between people who are in need. 
Be alert and well log all the items issued and received for the day and time to time write important notes in pass on notes book for others 
Make the site work enjoyable by interacting with site staff& Mgt. 
When you relive the next guard make sure to pass all the information.

As a Relief Supervisor you encounter different modes of your personnel and also do customer service for museum patrons. When you are at control room monitoring cameras and answering calls from offices and patron queries, you have to be specific in forwarding calls to the right person. 

Museum staff are very cooperative and friendly, the Management is like a family. I can say that there is no hard part of the job as long as you love and know of what you are doing everything will result in a good flow and outcome.

Enjoyable part is when you encounter different people from different parts of the world ( tourists ) who are coming to museum to explore the arts and different artifacts. Also by interactions with their questions and answering them properly. Customer service is very important of how you handle the situation.

The same  as every other security company out there.
Zero respect. Dead end job. Hired at 15 an hour and dropped to 14 when moved to new site. After 6 mths asked to be moved back up to starting wage and told I needed to prove myself before a raise.  A raise to the wage I was hired at.  O.K.
Charged 150.00 for uniform that I never  recieved. Got 1 shirt and 1  tie and told blazer and pants were coming. Made to sign forms for all items. Told when we leave company we are fully refunded. NOT REFUNDED. 
Pushy scedualing dept that won't take no for an answer. Disrespectful managment. A union tried  to get employees on board and Regal had staff meetings with  scare tactics. No raises etc etc. Lied to union about amount of employees on sites so they were unable to obtain enough signatures. No benifits. No protection. 
This company made me  want to leave  the security industry.

Depends on where you were assigned , i got assigned on different site , construction sites , museum , malls , theater, professional building and various activities at Calagry like Stampede parades. I learned a lot on market mall duties because you have to arrests some thieves , learned their basic rights according to the law , how and when to make an arrest. The hardest part of the job is when i got assigned outside the mall parking lot on winter to assist patrons while the temperature is below negative 20 degrees celsius. The enjoyable part is when you are taking your lunch on time and get to know new security guards who are also on break to take their lunch.

The work was very repetitive. Sitting by the CCTV watching guests enter and leave the premise and patrolling at intervals was a typical day's work. I gained customer service skills when I was dealing with residents. The management was quite understanding especially in accommodating requests like overtime. The hardest part of the job was staying awake and dealing with difficult residents and intruders. The most enjoyable was that you were your own boss and dealt with situations at your best discretion.

The usual day at work is enjoying and to build more experience and skills,

With co workers you should have team work to do your job on time,

Hardest part of the job is Dealing some intoxicated patrons

productive and always got chance to communicate with officials. the work used to be mainly night shifts . got chance to explore different location in calgary. supervisor were helpful. always got chance to learn new experience from each job site.

It was a good company and I really liked how the owner was the manager. It really made him approachable and I could speak of any issues and he'd work it out accordingly with himself, employees and the client.
