A typical day would start off by conducting shift change, go over any major issues that have occurred throughout the day, and general check in's with residents. Afterwards, review if the medication has to be administered and then began to prep dinner. On some days certain residents chose to assign themselves to assist staff with prepping dinner the majority of the time staff complete dinner themselves. The company should find more engaging ways on how to enhance the resident's willingness to be more intuned on developing more/new life skills.

Volunteering at Regenerating Thrift was a fulfilling and insightful experience. My tasks ranged from sorting donations to organizing shelves, all while working alongside a dedicated and welcoming team. The environment was vibrant and community-focused, which made each day engaging. One of the most rewarding parts of the experience was seeing how the thrift store provided affordable clothing and household items to those in need, reinforcing the store's commitment to supporting the local community.

Great clients to work with.  Outside resources are fair.  For the most part, staff are fun and enjoyable.  One staff is problematic but somewhat managable.All staff are experienced and have worked at the program for many  years.

Stay away this place is to much gossip and a bunch of uneducated people with no degrees stealing from clients and gossip.eatingcthe clients food shopping and stealing from clients using their money to buy stuff 

I like working with this organization, it allows me to grow and share my ideas. this organization, house a diverse population which help to keep the staff learning.

I did my second placement here and I found it very pleasant place to work; especially if you want to grow in your profession - more rooms for advancement and growths. At the end of my placement, I got hired in a relief capacity and I love working there.

The members are challenging and rewarding to work with. It is a high pace job but once you get adjusted and learn the routine and all the individuals behaviours it is good place to work.

the job that was explained I  the interview is nothing like the actual job. the peer manager claims to be supportive but is anything but. extremely condescending and the turn around is insane. do yourself a favor if you are applying for a peer role..DONT!!!!!

Learned a lot ..loved the members and co-workers. All managers were very supportive. Sometimes is was hard not to bring the work home with me. Wonderful place to work

Room to grow if you want to. Great place to gain experience.
