This company is the worst company ever. Their special coverage guards are not showing up for 'incompetent scheduling' and they would just ask their static guards to do the work, leaving their main function. Operation's manager is soo boastful, pretends that he is a former Military in the Philippines but is just a reservists and a station head guard in a bank in the Philippines. HR who is a mexican is soo rude. No uniforms given, only used ones and you will be the one to pay for the dry cleaning. DONT WORK HERE. YOU HAVE NO WELFARE HERE.

When the company was bought by the new owner, all benefits were cut. MISMANAGED!  ALL GOOD MEN WORKING ARE TERMINATED/LEFT THE COMPANY FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.

When the husband/wife team ran the company, there was nowhere else I wanted to be. Now, I want to be anywhere but here. Scheduling is atrocious and work life balance is nil. You get time off approved then on day one of the time off, they call and ask you to work. Static sites are poorly documented and training rarely provided. Mobile units beaten and bashed by people who don't care.  Zero professionalism though there are those trying hard to make fetch happen they are undermined by head office. Don't expect a living wage. I have to use food bank to get by. No OT pay, banked time paid out at lower rate, I could go on but you get the point.

You can get steady hours as long as you are willing to put up with no career advancement, promotions or pay raises. It was decent when it was still run by the previous guys but since the takeover, most of the staff either left or were let go. The few management staff that remained quickly adapted to the Regent way of doing things and do not have your back. Employees had issues getting LOE and ROEs. 
Come in, do your work and go home. Don’t give feedback because you will get no response. Don’t talk back if you have an issue or you will be fired. Very toxic work place environment. Avoid if you can. 

Security is a job you get because you absolutely need a job and you do not care about being treated like a 3rd class citizen by your employer.

While I was with Regent it wasn't quite this bad, but every company I have been with since, and whose employee's I have spoken too, confirm that Security as a Low level Employee is just marginally better than working at Fast food. But only when the pay is good. 

Sadly the pay does not keep up and never will. You will be making more at Wal-Mart after 10 years than you would working security. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is the sense of accomplishment that comes from ensuring a safe and secure environment. The satisfaction of resolving issues and making a positive impact on the safety of others makes the role highly rewarding. The management is highly professional and supportive. They provide clear instructions, offer valuable feedback, and are always available to address any concerns. Their approach to leadership fosters a positive and efficient work environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and Busy and The Homeless

Abusive management.  Office romance ruins front office support.  Owners yell and conspire against there own employees.   Owners over bill their  client's and lose contracts.    Huge turn over so there employees get over worked, yelled at and are under paid for the amount of abuse and work they do.  Raises are far from or never.  Manager and secretary had a relationship.

A typical day on the job that I found was the people that I have worked with are really good.
The training was excellent 
Supervisors and management are excellent to work with.
The hardest part of the job was dealing with weather conditions and the most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people, getting along well with my co-workers and the job was enjoyable.

After one year's work as a Security Officer, I was posted at a permanent office site. I tend to know the place and the people working there better. Though it became a routine, I learnt something different everyday. Overall I was performant and was satisfied with my job as a Security.
