Working within a show home has taught me more about professionalism and sales than I could have learned anywhere else. I love being part of a respected company and having the ability to help with the new home building process. My site managers are what make the experience as wonderful as it is. Having patient, understanding, and enthusiastic employers is what draws me into ReidBuilt Homes and keeps me an active and reliable employee.

The company was fine until management changes took place and very, very, bad land decisions, followed. Added to that millions of financing to build spec homes in bad areas that costs so much in carrying cost. Simple formula for failure.

Working with ReidBuilt for over 30 years, I learned a lot about the housing industry.  Working my way up through the years to a management roll, I then could then train and nurture others to grow within the industry.  We created an enjoyable work environment and had great staff.

This company is great for the person that doesn't require a lot of supervision. 
They like to promote from within the organization.
The most enjoyable part is the daily challenge to keep the process on track.

I enjoyed working for Reid and would have been happy to continue with them, until they went into receivership. Job was not a  hard job and was alone most of the time

Management was playing favorites which lead to a high stress and fast paced environment. Only noting the mistakes and never praising the good. Pay was really low for the position offered.

Very busy, and rewarding.  My work was directly involving with customers and provided a great base in customer relations.  Loved working with the accounting aspect of the business.

Company was managed in to bankruptcy and owed my $68,000.00.
This coul do fbeen avoided and hurt many people, customers, trades, and employees. Arrogance and fraud were evident.

When I started here, there was lots of positive momentum. When the markets changed, upper management didn't seem to notice and pushed forward right into bankruptcy.

Well there not point in writing a review for a company shutting its doors.  It was a good to place work at and my coworkers put up with my crazy antics so how great is that?
