Reids Dairy

While working for them throughout the CNE experience, it entitled me to learn much about the job, and what is needed for a successful individual in the work place. After meeting many individuals, it allowed me to communicate with new people on a daily basis while also allowing me to gain experience for future jobs. Overall it was an amazing experience being located in Toronto, and enjoying the perks of being apart of a Carnival that is one of the biggest around the world. Not only did I enjoy the experience, but I can't wait to see where this great Ice Cream Company goes in the future. It was a delight to work with them.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Staff are friendly. Some are good to work with

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with bosses that constantly undermine there employees 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The culture sucks. The work environment can be challenging but the worst part is the lack of positive feed back and the undermining of good employees

Managment is good. They are pretty good to work for. Most new people don't last. Im not sure why. The jobs are not that hard to do,but there is lots of things to learn.
Most of people are great to work with. Helpful and take time with new people. Overall its good place to work. Depending where you start. Lot guys been there for over 10 years. Not much room for advancement.

Reid’s Dairy is a great place to work regardless of your age. I worked in the store on and off for about 6 years. Management was family, however everyone was always very friendly and always wanting to help you succeed. Not only was it a great job to make quick cash, but it was also a job where I learned a lot about customer service, working under pressure and time management. Easiest job with great people.

Unfortunately had to resign due to moving but I have to say my supervisor constantly went above and beyond to ensure we were successful in our tasks and getting them done properly. Couldn’t ask for a better one. Definitely deserves a lot of recognition. The staff were overall friendly and I enjoyed many interactions with every department. I wish I didn’t have to resign! 

The job itself was rewarding, and enjoyable. However, the environment was toxic. There was far too much workplace drama, coworkers believing that they had seniority over all of their co workers. The upper management enjoys gossiping with other workers about the personal lives of other employees.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The pay rate and get Overtime as you want.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Cleaning of Machines after finishing the production.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Every Monday and Tuesday of the week

It was a great place to work I was with them 7 years and at that time it was fun and easy going workplace. there was a lot of physical work and a busy place milk and ice cream were very low prices then

If you can do one monotonous task and never questioned why, then this job is for you. You get to pick and choose what policy you follow each day. But if you don't follow the one management thinks you should have you'll get in trouble.

Poor management can take a good employee employee and ruin them.

Reids has been an amazing place to work. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The management treats you with respect and appreciation. 
The company seems to care about individuals.
