Let’s start off with the “good” before we get on with all the bad. Guards, although simple minded, are relaxed and very friendly (even my supervisor was awesome and totally understanding when I had family situations I had to deal with)

Now on to the bad side, the company is a total wreck, truly unorganized, coordinators don’t know what they’re doing 80% of the time, and when clients complain about the work quality, they stir up controversy with you about it even though they only pay you minimum wage (I got a raise to $14 an hour while the new guards got a nice $16 for joining th company, not fair considering me and my colleagues have been employed at the same site for over 2 years and only received little 15 cents to no raise at all).
Human Resources is dishonest and tries the best to turn things around against you to protect the company (understandable because that’s what Human Resources does).

Pay role department can’t do their jobs at all, I’ve requested multiple times to have my Cheques sent to the security office, yet they still send my coworkers theirs and keep my cheque at head office.

Don’t know what else to say, they’re still losing contracts left and right because they’re too frugal with their money and refuse to give their guards decent raises and rather resort to blaming people and hiring new guards Instead, Expecting the veteran guards (not supervisor) to train the new hires.

I will start with the positive. I met some of the best coworkers I've ever had here. A lot of the older higher ups are very pleasant and polite people.

That said, the rest of management is a mess. I was hired to do one job and was then made to do a completely different one with ridiculous deadlines and weekly quotas, very little structure, and a lot of stress and pressure to get responses with clients. The only training I had was a working interview where I was (apparently) expected to take extensive notes and rely on those instead of asking questions as my manager was incredibly unapproachable. Customer files are disorganized and not up-to-date, so it made doing the job very difficult. Management was cliche-y, toxic, uncommunicative and frequently out of the office so there was no one to ask in the event of an emergency.

I could go on, but I strongly suggest workers think twice about working here.

I’ve worked for Reilly for less than a year and had the best experience with them . Interview and training was thorough.... work environment was very conducive .... the pay was way better than the peanut that most security companies offer . This company caters to it’s employees fully . They’ll stick up for you instead of throwing you under the bus and using you as a sacrificial lamb . Communication with the HR is A1... there’s always someone willing to listen to your grievances.... this company understands that you’re a human being and not a robot . I didn’t pay a penny for my uniforms . They were offered to me free off charge unlike some companies whose primary goals is to sell uniforms to the employees. I resigned and it was a smooth transition. I returned my uniforms in good condition and I picked up my paycheck without any drama and they were thankful. I would honestly work for them again if I ever want an employment in the security industry.

When I come into work, I am usually greeted with co-workers that are usually smiling. Rule number one here is that we take our breaks very seriously.

My main duties are to check in guest quickly and accurately (If they don't have an appointment, I must get their info, than call and get approval before they can even touch the elevators.) Secondly, I would have to say is answering phones in between the sometimes chaotic amounts of check-ins we do in a day. 

On our down times we can have interesting and usually funny conversations .. Depending on who is in, this is my favorite part.

If you're doing the closing shift, your night has many twists it can take. Between making work orders, attending to the events being hosted that evening, phone calls and giving directions; that last break is heaven. But my boss says to call her with whatever issue we have so things always work out. The Lead Concierge is the best boss I've ever had.

Where do I even begin?
This company is very unorganized, have unreasonablely high expectations for low wages, the management team treats you horribly and are extremely unorganized, and on top of all that, gossip runs rampant in this company. Everyone will treat you kindly when you’re around, but as soon as you leave their line of sight, they’ll become completely different people and stab you right in the back. Even with new hires, they’re extremely harsh towards them, expecting them to perform miracles on the first week at their placement. If they do something wrong, they don’t get spoken to privately about it, they would announce it there and then in front of the other guards.As for the low wages, they choose to pay you the utmost lowest wages legally possible, so don’t expect to get much if they offer you a raise. Otherwise, do yourself a favour and move on to the next company!

I'm not sure where to begin but to say this company is rotten to the core. Let's begin with their posting on indeed; they will advertise a certain wage rate but when you enter the orientation will offer you a different rate than listed. Gossip runs amok here with personal information being given out at a whim. It is by far one of worst security companies in the market with an ever shrinking list of contracts. They have 1 large client who tells the company what to do, when to do it aa they are constantly afraid of losing them, despite the horrible job they are doing. There is always drama in this company and its simply best to stay out of the office as much as you can. The managers here have serious anger issues, a weak work ethic, and try their best to hide their mistakes from the owner. If you do end up working for this company do an overnight shift and ko. Ive seen people do this all the time and they work for the company. As the old saying goes, out of sight, out of mind.

I don’t even know where to begin, management is pretty horrible and are pretty two faced (especially HR), the coordinator isn’t a big fan of reading your reports, so she’ll go straight to confronting you about a situation even though it happened outside your schedule shift.

Decided you wanted to move up in the company and maybe become a supervisor or something better?
Tough luck! They’d rather outsource that job to a new hire than promote those that are already qualified for that position!

Pay is pretty bad, mainly because they’re cheap and expect you to perform wonders on a minimum wage pay, yet people higher up in the company can’t even do their own jobs properly!

I’m not sure what else to say but, read the bad reviews on here and move on, for the amount you get paid, it’s just not worth dealing with the stress from such an unorganized management team.

If you're looking for full time work, avoid this company at all cost. i've been with this company for less than half a year and was told that they had a lot of sites they can place me in. throughout my employment here, i have yet to be offered a permanent full time schedule. sure, i would understand if they didnt want togive me any full time positions. but through all the sites they place me at, i had the chance to speak to my coworkers, they all tell me they're losing contracts left and right and i've even had a supervisor tell me that a lot of of the sites that this company works for has a high turnover rate. So despite me wanting more hours, this company either simply doesnt care, or doesnt like me, nonetheless, horrible experience, would highly recommend avoiding this company

Worked here for 3 years now and not once have i received an offer from the company to raise my wages. only wage raise i've received were mandatory government wage raises. other than that, my supervisor requested a pay raise a long time ago, everyone got interviewed about 2 months after a request was placed, and the seniors of the site (me + another coworker) didnt get a nickel, while my coworkers+supervisor got a big slap of disrespect on their face with 10¢ added to each hour. You're kidding right? the audacity this company has is infuriating considering they expect so much out of you by adding more and more workload.

(P.S. management is a mess. only person that seems to be doing their job alright is pay roll person. but thats it.)

Horrible work ethics, uniforms were NOT free (a portion of your first 3 paychecks will be deducted), toxic environment, very low wage with no future for advancement (they would rather have a new hire than to promote an employee qualified for the position),
and lastly, the management team is just a mess. truly incapable of performing their own duties at the office.

not many good things i can say about the company, your coworkers are great as i have worked multiple sites and have only had couple instances where some people feel the need to be authority figures as a security personnel. actually i think that might just be the only thing i can say was enjoyable working for this company.
