Ethically compromising place to practice pharmacy. No organization, no structure, owners has cameras watching the pharmacy from their home while you work. They will call you from home telling you to attend to a customer. Weird! Assistants control the place - billing’s, etc. Spent more time learning the cash register than working as a pharmacist. Or you spend all your time checking “wheels” dispensers. Don’t waste your time here, lots of s**t wholes out there. This is one of them. Maybe it has changed but I would not think so. Better places to work no question

This job was a very good job, it was well balanced. There was always something to do at this job, a normal day would begin with getting all of the computers going and starting up the Kroll program, counting out all of the prescribed drugs to be checked by the pharmacist, opening the store and inviting customers in. I would help them with whatever they needed help with and then continue to do other things like checking expire dates or dusting shelves and also continue to fill prescribed drugs throughout the day until my shift was done.

Great work atmosphere. Minimal customer interactions which leads to more productive pharmacy turnaround

Customer interactions can be somewhat stressful due to payments and conditions

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very much an area where you can grow within the company 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Order processing. Order packaging. Shipping.

A challenging work environment, fast paced and stimulating with great customer interaction and positive outcomes.  I enjoy researching and becoming a specialist in product knowledge and competencies.  I also enjoy a socially interactive environment where colleagues share the same passion for achievement and efficiencies.  A creative thinking environment is always welcome, where employee contributions are both respected and valued.

Fast paced customer service office setting. Dealing with patients medical needs daily, working alongside with doctors and nurses. Most enjoyable part of the job was feeding my thirst for knowledge. Had the opportunity to work with new software programs; PACMED, PACVISION, Catalyst.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The boss is very intelligent and well informed about pharmacology matterers

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The job is wonderful if you value getting to know your clients.  The driving gets stressful in inclement weather. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
We work independently but collaborate in planning client care.

I started by volunteering when they agreed to take me on for my practicum, then completed the practicum and continued my learning until I was employed elsewhere. The Owner was a  very good teacher and was invested in seeing me succeed. He was not able to take me on full time after I graduated, so he recommended me to the Manager of the store I am currently employed with.

The coworkers at Remedy’s are great but management is terrible. It’s not a very professional environment. Also, raises are terrible. The most they give is maybe 20 cents. It would take five years to even make an extra dollar.

No enough trained staff. Hours of shift may vary. Closing hours can go up to 11-11:30pm when its supposed to close way earlier. I don't think this pharmacy completely follows the rules and regulations but is always in favour of the patients.

very good place to work, co-workers are awesome. I've learned a lot about kroll just by working there. I wish i did receive more hours and worked more. A con is the longer drive.
