Since I was working during the christmas holidays, It was almost always busy (unless I was working the closing shift, till 10). I definitely liked that it was busy though. The management was very helpful and friendly, as well as my co-workers. Working the cash was not a very hard job, it only took a few days before I knew how pretty much everything worked. The best part of the job was getting to chat with the customers about their purchase, since a lot of them were christmas gifts, it was fun to hear the customers talk about who the gifts were for and what their holiday plans were.

The first point when you start working is to training for several domain and despite all of that i didn't learn nothing exept the job can be really repetitive at times and the atmosphere sometimes is stressful, nobody come to help or advising you in order to improve better,  and the most disturbing about is the lack of acknowlegment and much moral harassment to push you go fast or to make you more tired imposing some repetitives tasks, and no greeting, neither motivation, and whatever i don't have any regrets to resign myself and i prefer better preserve my mental health in rather to devote myself in something that could harm me. 

The salary is super low. They’re so proud of being a Quebec company, it’s a shame they’re not willing to pay their workers more. Every now and then they offer their employees to participate in training events (on the different games they sell), however those are not paid. This means they’re basically asking you to volunteer. This is not something mandatory, you can absolutely refuse to go. The work is physically demanding as well, wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

 At least you get a discount on the products. 

Answering customer questions and helping do orders. Quieting customer fears about their orders and cancelling orders all during Christmas Madness… Being understanding and professional in answering messages and calls, taking complaints in. 

Mostly friendly agents, good supervisors… 

Nice place to work when it's not the busiest season (aka holidays) because we had a small store compared to most Renaud-Bray location. Costumers are nice and will share new authors/books to try. Same goes for boardgames. Staff tends to be chill given you have a nice chemistry in the team. Management is a hit or miss.

I dont recommend working there if you're easily stressed but i personally loved it and im kind of easily stressed:,) but it was fun honestly the people were sweet i did cash mostly but it wasn't all that bad. You just had to answer the phone and reply to customers while scanning things and stuff it was very regular but kind of stressful

I enjoyed the team very much, the warehouse is very well organized and clean, management allowed us the freedom of music (one earbud only) which helped keep a swift pace.

very harsh company, takes everything way too seriously and only pays minimum wage. Managers do not care for your work conditions, often times don't form you and expect perfection. coworkers are very nice. my worst experience at a job by far.

The job became a bit boring at times since it was a very quiet workspace with not that many rushes, but the management truly was the best part of the job. They were very understanding, caring, and protective. I never worried when I had a nasty customer, I knew that my manager always had my back. 

Terrible store owner who does not encourage improvement of employees. They keep you in the dark during your probation period about mistakes you make. People always talk behind your back all the time.
