-Learning curve is firguring out how to use their app, but once you figure it out you'll be speeding by everything.
-You go to a store, check the prices and input them into their app. You can go anytime during store hours between Thursday to Saturday which is great since you can work this around your normal schedule. They'll have opportunities for different types of jobs like Merchandising.
-At the start you're paid an hourly plus piece, but after a few weeks you'll be paid only per completion of the job which is fine, but does push you to rush since the longer you take, less you make. So if you're slow and take your time, you'll make very little per hour.
-Hands off approach from management so as long as you send in your prices, they'll never contact or bother you.
-ONLY ISSUE: Some jobs require you to collect prices undercover, which is extremely difficult when you have a couple hundred items, and you're paid about the same as non undercover jobs which makes it not worth the time and effort when you'll take much longer and potentially risk getting kicked out by store staff.

-Overall great job for students or as a side hustle due to its flexibility and hands off approach. Weekly pay too which is nice.

We are given lists of items that we must collect during a given timeframe (two days usually for me) that I believe are supposed to be around 900-1000 per person. It's an exact UPC match and we are to find the items in the store, scan them to confirm we have the correct item, and then we have to enter the price and the sale price if there is one. My current list is around 1900-2000/week because a few people have quit. 

It's fairly easy work- it's dull and repetitive but it's not particularly challenging. 

When I applied for my position as a data collector I was told to expect 15-20 hours of work a week and instead have been getting around 10-12. By not having a 15 hour average I am not eligible for any bonuses. Even more frustrating is my average hours have been shown as 3/week. 

When I was hired I was told I would be paid per item. Half the data collectors have quit meaning I am collecting approximately twice as many items as I was when I started and my pay has actually decreased since then with no explanation. 

The managers seem nice enough, we don't have much contact. 

The job isn't worth the pay in my opinion and I'm not planning on staying with them much longer. I'm only making slightly over minimum wage.

Working for RD I have opportunity to learn about many products which they are on a market. I have became a smarter shopper since I am familiar with prices of 2000 basic items from all categories like food, organic food, household cleaning, cosmetics, medications, supplements, baby's products, baby's food, medication for kids and international food.. The best thing is that I can decide about how many hours per day I want to work  but job has to be done on time. I like this flexibility of working according to my schedule. Waling for few hours in a store is like a "fitness" , after this job you do not need to go on power walk.  Memorizing items is a good training for memory. After a while your memory is better.  Considering these all pros, this job is is perfect as a source of making  extra money.

I’ve been working at this company for a number of years and I truly enjoy my job. Hours are very flexible and work can be done anytime of day as long as the location is opened. Once you know your lists, and where things are located in the store, you can go pretty quick. It just takes some getting used to. The manager is very helpful and always responds quickly to emails and texts. They are very understanding and accommodating if you need some time off.

Retail Data is a great company to work for. You work independently at various retail locations and make your own hours within the required time window. The placement I have now requires the job to be done between Thu-Sat every week. When you first start you'll make minimum wage as you learn then you get switched over to piece work when you're fast enough. I'm currently earning the equivalent of $33/hr.

I’ve only been working with Retail Data for one month but during that time the management and staff have been very supportive as I learn my job position. They have continued to provide me with consolidation and training while I adjust to this role.

This job works well around my full time job.  I am able to choose when I go to the store to collect the prices as long as it is within the 3 day open period.  My manager and Lead Data Collector are always available and quick to answer any questions or concerns that I have. 

They expect you to work hours for free collecting data in stores you are not allowed to collect data in and unpaid driving time. Then except you to enter the data in a app which takes even more hours to do. And you have to be within a certain distance from the store when working on the app. With hours worked and hours paid, you make well below minimum wage.
