The floor strategy at Revolution is very aggressive. If you don’t like a very straight forward, pushy sales approach, this isn’t the workplace for you. They will tell you it’s “building relationships “, and “smart suggestions “ really they expect you to push every item in the store on each lady who comes through the door. It’s overwhelming for most associates and managers. Very much operates like a car dealership. 

The hardest part of the job, and management, go hand in hand. This is by far the worst management I’ve ever experienced. 

Monday managers meetings, aren’t for collaboration and encouragement. It’s all criticism and humiliation. Not one manager looks forward to Monday. This  meeting in itself, creates anxiety and stress, not the best way to start your week. 

The gossip at management level is extremely toxic. They try to defer the managers of each location, from being friends. The reason being, they gossip and talk so poorly about everyone, that once everyone starts talking, they get exposed. 

Overall not a healthy work environment. Zero work life balance. As a manager, if you have to work your days off, you are not giving time in lieu, nor are you paid. Wages aren’t worth the stress. 


If you have high self esteem do yourself a favor and don't apply here. Cult like atmosphere with ever changing expectations. Use of classic manipulation tactics and language to control staff. 
Expect engagement with you through emails even on the days you are not working. 
They claim to empower woman, and do for woman who are paying customers, yet treat their staff of women poorly. 
I worked for the company for less than a year and in my short time there I'm the fifth employee to quit. 

Customers were awesome, and coworkers were great. The owners will talk about you with other staff, even from other locations. Very unprofessional and rude. Condescending and not supportive. Love to make you feel less knowledgeable than them. Very insecure and treat others like they don’t matter. No sense of belonging, only want more from you. Very toxic and stressful environment. Never feels like you have ever done enough. 
Save yourself….. don’t let the smiles drag you in. It doesn’t take long to see what’s really happening!

I have grown many of my skills while working for Revolution Boutique. This includes: sales, wardrobing, relationship building and management skills. 

Fair targets are set each month to obtain and weekly meetings with managers are held to see how we are doing. Lots of communication with upper management to ensure we are successful. 

The relationships with the customers are the best part! The ladies that come through these doors are amazing and it's rewarding to help them feel good about themselves.

The current sales associates are knowledgable and work together as a cohesive team, they create a pleasurable work environment. You will become a proficient sales person. Clientele are very enjoyable to engage with as they are willing participants in the Revolution experience. Reasonable wage but be prepared to work every single minute of your shift as break times are non-existent most days. There is no consistency in shifts, they vary greatly week to week so you must be flexible. 

Revolution is a great place to work. Owner and management are so passionate about the company and thrive to give customers a shopping experience like no other. We are constantly learning new sales strategies, styling techniques, customer engagement methods, etc. There is lots of room to grow within the company and never a shortage of things to do each day. The staff is amazing and the customers are fabulous and make each day fly by. It is a great place to work if you are passionate about fashion. 

Awesome place to work. Wonderful colleagues and fabulous merchandise. I enjoy interacting with customers and seeing them glow when we find the perfect outfits for them. Very generous management reflected in both salary and employee discounts. Flexible schedule, fun and professional atmosphere. It is my happy place :)

The regular customers that cane in weekly

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not able the leave the floor for a break or a washroom break.  Management was horrible to the employees.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The moral was horrible.  Toxic environment

Great when the Manager was not in

Save yourself a heartache and apply somewhere else. 
Pushy, judgmental people. Talking badly about customers. 
Management and the owner are just awful.
They promise you a decent schedule and send you home every day few hours into your shift.
Intimidating tactics with long terms associates also.


Working here was a nightmare to say the least, my first red flag should have been the revolving door of employees until i became one of them. People seem to come and go leaving employees with cut hours or ending up jobless. 
Negative work environment with minimal communication.
