Revolution Resource Recovery

Revolution could be a great company. They just need to put people in management who at least know something about the job! Days are supposed to be 8 hrs long but most routes can't be done in 10. The driver's supervisor has ZERO experience being a driver and shouldn't even be there. Driver's are constantly being talked down to and given unrealistic routes to complete. Many of the swampers are old men that have no business being there. Customers are consistently being put before employees.  

...because if you aren't you're gonna have a rough time. The owner will never see you as anything other than a number (this is a small enough company that there is no reason for that), the ops manager will never take anything you say seriously & genuinely has no idea what's going on. This place breeds a cut throat culture instead of a team work environment. The only reason there is team mentality is because eventually those of us being kicked down come together and push back. Very unhealthy workplace. You will not be recognized for your efforts as employee verbally or financially. Asking for a raise will get you laughed at, and the suggestion will be made they'll find someone to do it for cheaper. You will be made to feel disposable; replaceable. Run far and fast from this toxic employer. I'm trying to.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The coworkers are great and pay was ok

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The Vancouver location closed last quarter of 2023, some employees got paid severance pay but some did not get any. For me I never even got any letter that the company was closing, no laid-off letter even and no severance either. Passed by the site and it's already for sale. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Busy environment and hot and dirty in the summer

I worked as a mechanic there, the experience was good. Most drivers were happy. Employees there love there jobs. Most of the equipment is new. Must be willing to join teamsters union.

Pretty decent to work there. Once you figure out your job it does not really change . A few lifers No real room for advancement. Great hours from 6 am to 230 .. leaves you with rest of the day to do what ever.
Pays pretty low with the scope of work. They could pick a better Union . Seldom saw the rep. Overall would go back if needed work . 

I’ve never worked at a company where there was no team work and no attention to detail and this is by far the company that has the worst welders in the industry 

It’s a good place to work.  A little more organization to make things stream line and it’s a gravy job.  Good benefits! Everyone is pretty friendly and good to work with 

The company has very good working environment. The best thing here is they have employees from different cultures and I learnt how to deal and work with them while respecting their cultural values.

Tough routes great drivers I learned front end driving from some of the best if you want to gain experience on some of the most skill challenging driving situations this is the company.  Also great on site mechanics

I liked working there and the supervisor is easy to get along with. Just not enough work. It is a pretty straight forward job. It was always the same product for every customer.
