I work in Program Management supporting and advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities to integrate them into our communities, support them to be independent and help develop life skills so they can be productive members in our society and feel valued, respected, and feel a sense of belonging. The program support staff are very caring, experienced, and we all have a genuine passion to support those we serve. Workplace culture is non-toxic and very diverse. RSCL offers extensive skill training and are very support so we have all the tools and resources to do our job. Senior Management and Directors have an open door policy and are very approachable to address any concerns. Hardest part of the job is dealing with emergencies or heavy work loads during stressful situations but support is always available. RSCL is a wonderful organization and I am grateful to be a part of the team! 

I enjoyed working with people with disabilities.  I looked after a couple  on a biweekly basis from Tuesday at 5.00pm through to Saturday morning. My typical day with them was from 5.00pm until 7.00am.  On a weekly basis grocery shopping had to be done, meals had to made and the apartment had to be cleaned. I took them to various functions and activities.  I basically was responsible for establishing a safe, warm and happy environment for the couple I looked after and it was my responsibility to keep RSCL informed on a weekly basis of the couple's progress.

 I was keep fairly busy with RSCL.  It was not unusual to have the whole month booked with clients.

It was very important to encourage my clients to be independent and self reliant.  I found they became happier with more self-assurance. 

I found working with people a rewarding experience. It is my goal to continue to work as long as I am capable in that field.

I love to work here at RSCL, management are understanding and organized during a typical days at work. Staff care for each other and there is a teamwork which made the group strong. I learned a lot on how to support our individuals diligently with satisfaction and meet their goals in life. Friendly culture workplace. Everyone has a welcoming attitude.

I love the organization! They gave me opportunity to excel my skills in Arts and involve with the individuals in art shows and art sales. They support the staff and the individuals too. 

They are involve in mental health care, volunteer sites, employment for the individuals and family care. They care from child to adult and senior too.

Great support throughout the company from co workers and management. Busy work days. Great opportunities to learn and grow in the company. They provide great training and the opportunity to further your education through management courses. Fun and happy place to work.

Expectations regarding my work load are made clear and I am given plenty of opportunity for learning new things, joining company committees and contributing in a positive way to both my workplace and my community.

They have different programs, and most are busy throughout the day. Most of the staff are fun to work with. Most of the clients have challenging behaviours, and that is the hardest part of the job. 

Leaders and coworkers are friendly and supportive. I like my coworkers and clients.  I feel happy to work here.
I’ve tried different fields and locations for my work. I’m luck that my vocational experience is always great. I have to say that working at RSCL is one of the best. 

RSCL provides services to Individuals who need support as they engage in their personal day to day activities. These clients face development and physical challenges. it is our job to help them with their activties and create an environment where they can strive

Absolutely garbage organisation, no co ordination between department, no one have any knowledge,or know what they are doing, company is loosing programs, staffs are getting laid off, zero professionalism in the management. Do not join in this company.
