What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Upper Management is the most stressful part of this job. Theyll expect you to go above and beyond for the same pay, and pay you the bare minimum that any shop is obligated to. Technicians here are extremely underpaid  any dealer ive seen, even with extensive efforts of the union to negotiate fair compensation. It took upper management over 1.5 yrs to settle a simple union agreement simply because management refused to be professional, even straight up offering garbage deals and not showing up to meetings with our union manager. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work culture is very good with coworkers, however upper management will add unnecessary stress and pressure which can ruin the experience of the environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stable scheduling for fulltime in service, which is great however expect for it to be understaffed which in turn means you get the honor of doing extra work and work extra hard for the same pay. Other places are both emotionally and physically stable, and have enough workers to accommodate but this place is notoriously underpaid with high turnover rate due to bad management

On first day of job, you don't get to introduce other employees & management team. Young Part-time receptionist training you for a week. She left for a week vacation. Management team is unorganized. Face to require to work in hectic situations. Busy..unexpected job duty...No one ever tells you what to do. Unsafety job security,  management normally doesn't get to answer important phone calls. Sales guys are very rude to receptionist. Soo many young teenagers are working like high school. Management team  is unorganized & unprofessional. They are just bring dogs at dealershop all the time. It seems to be pet shop. You don't get to along with other employees & management. Don't ever work here. Low pay, no opportunity to growth, Unexpected duty, 40-50 phone calls received yourself. Customers are always yelling at you which you never done anything belongs there. Company is just using people whoever needs money or looking for cheap employees.

The owner doesn’t pay bills so you constantly have suppliers calling asking for bills to be paid. The management will mess with your pay in pay every way possible because you’re union(which is a joke as well and doesn’t do anything for you other than “oh well too bad”). Management couldn’t care about you because of this as well. Work is a dirty dingy mess with vindictive people who like to play mind games. They will nickel and dime you for everything they can on your paycheque. 

Under new managment, richmond subaru is a great place to work with! Recently, under new management, lots of good changes have been made and a new solid team is working hard to make the store  a great work place for good people and a great final subaru car shopping destination. If you have good work ethic and make sure follow the guidelines and procedures of the group, great result will come and your pay cheque will prove this! No pain no gain, this is a golden rule for everywhere and anywhere! You just need to believe it!

i was not trained at all in my position and it was my first job in that role. they knew it was my first but they still expected me to know what to do and figure things out on my own. every time i asked for help, they would either do things on their own and not show what they’re doing or get mad about the fact that i don’t know what i’m doing. management does not care about their people. also expected me to work past my scheduled hours but did not get paid extra.

Lack of management lack of direction and keep getting kill by the controller

Swap overloaded issues over your paid grade

There's a reason why the initials to Olympic motors group is OMG. It's not the good kind. Always short staffed and management expects you to come way before your shift to have a 10 minute meeting. If there arent enough lot attendants for that day, be ready to have an angry customer screaming in your face about no car wash, or start washing cars yourself.

the group at this store is awesome feels like a family, everyone gets along and we all have fun. we make sure the staff knows that there family comes first. when your coming to work come prepared to work.

Stay away. Use this place only as a stepping stone if needed. The people put in charge have no clue about what they are doing. They will try to cut cost by paying you less so that they get more.
