To pull the cat out of the bag right away this job has good benefits but the pay could be better, alot of new hires are getting starting out at 19-20 and if they pass 3 months a 2$ raise is given to them meaning alot of new hires are making around 21-22 within the first three months which is great to start off with as a younger person, the real problem is the employees who have worked for the company for a few years with little to no raises and making close to what the new hires start off with.

The on the job learning is good and can be useful skills for future employment  but currently a good handful of experienced guys and gals are leaving for higher paying jobs meaning there is a large skill gap growing and proper training of new employees is not what it use to be. The requirement to train someone in Rimex is 1 year in a job position with proven quality, for the last 8 months the company has been getting guys with less than 6 months experience to train new guys meaning are not getting a fully enriched training experience from a experience guy or gal who knows the job inside and out.

Management is a 50-50 in my opinion there are lot of great managers who actually go out of the floor and help employees weather that be filling in for a missing employee or helping newer employees out. but there is also alot of lost communication between employees and managers and alot of favoritism. I also find the employee recognition is little to none which was admitted by the company and told that they would work on it. The pay scale is in progress of changing to the affects of what experience people are getting payed are yet to be seen and alot of floor employees don't know much or less they will get payed until around october when the change rolls out

Overall the company is a good place to learn things but long term employment you wont get all the skills you are wanting but teaches alot of basic hand tool usage and of course i wont leave 3 important details out!!! The shops safety is top notch and this will ne one of the cleanest shops you will walk in. also they do in house apprenticeships and do a few people a time every years.

Daily work responsibilities, ERP Post support, CRM post support, ERP reports development, BI report development, new Project management work etc.

The hardest part of the job is catch up multi project deadline, the most enjoyable part of the job is always learning new stuff.

Worked here for 2 years as a welder and was given a total of 1 dollar in raises from $22 an hour to $23 an hour. This was not from a lack of trying, I worked my hardest everyday, was easily the most productive guy on the floor while maintaining high quality work, and was rewarded with absolutely nothing. I went to management multiple times and told them I need a raise, and not only did I need one, I deserved one. They had nothing to offer, and even told me if I want a higher paying job I should look for new employment, so I did, and the only time they offered me a raise is when I told them I’d be putting in my 2 weeks notice and starting a new job. I found a better paying job, with more satisfying work and the same family type environment that Rimex seems to boast a lot about even though their shop morale is in the dumpster.

If your looking for a job that will help you grow, and succeed this isn't it. They are self absorbed and there's so much nepotism in this company it blew my mind. You hear the word family (meaning you) but they abuse it and take advantage of anyone they hire. The day they interview you they seem so nice and helpful but once your hired your on your own almost completely isolated. People come and go they can't keep workers and the ones they do have they don't treat them very well here's an example they give you a promotion and take it away. The company could have the potential to be a decent place to work but too many bad eggs in the bunch for that to be a possibility. Life is too short for a place to be this toxic and sad

Like any position, you need to give it a shot. Learn and grow in the area you were hired for. Over time there is lots of chance for advancement at this company, but you have to prove yourself and work hard. Like any job there can be days where it’s not positive, but when you do your job and work hard you will see the benefits here. Painting environment is not for everyone, you need to know what is expected before going in. Ask questions and get clarification when unsure about role or job duties. Good group to work with once you get to know them. Many of the staff has been here 4+ years.

I have worked at RIMEX for nearly 8 years. This is by far the best company I have worked for. The flexibility and family oriented environment has been perfect for me with raising young children as well.

Treated as if its your first day on the job everyday, regardless of experience. Employees come and go. High turnover rate in a very short amount of time. Job itself was ok, however constant micro-managing and incompetent management was hard to deal with. No recognition for good work at all. No raises. Operates with as few people as possible and  wants you to pick up the slack for their lack of staff while providing no compensation. Not a great place to work...Beware !!

I worked for this company for over 20 years.  This company has helped individual families with needs, as well as individual employees financially.  There are not too many companies left that truly care about their employees.  
It was a pleasure to be a part of their growth.
There is a commitment to safety as all of the machines in the plant are large and they want everyone to go home safe.  Apprenticeships are available and encouraged.
The growth of Rimex came fast and furious, with this comes growing pains, with time they worked through all of these issues.  

Room for advancement is based on how much leadhand and manager likes you, not necessarily when you feel like your ready. As well as they aren't appreciative of the work you do and get very little to no recognition for the work you do.But is a very stable job and was never laid off and rarely had no work to do. Have good benefits.
