Unqualified, incompetent and stupid people in supervisory positions, who couldnt organize a  rock fight in a gravel pit. Lots of overtime due to poor planning. Do more with less very unprofessional and unsafe environment. No advancement, work through your breaks if you ever get one, which is against labour laws. Pay cuts and layoffs but management can buy a new shop and $80,000 trucks for PMs. Management is good at patting themselves on the back for the successful completion of projects, but the success is due to the hard work of the field staff who work extended shifts and hours.

Great company to learn about the High Voltage industry. Though proper tools are not always on hand, by speaking up the correct tool for the job was generally found. the most enjoyable part of the job was being able to look back at what had been accomplished. there are a lot of really great trades people and technicians at rising edge technologies. the hardest part was being unsure of job stability, and the pressure to do the job without incident or injury(emphasis on pressure).

Employees are all easy to get along with, hardworking and very welcoming to new people. Safety culture is excellent and the head manager is one of the best guys to work for. Always looking out for everyone and unbelievably hard working. Would highly recommend working there if you get the opportunity. Expectations for productivity is high and a decent life balance. 

Often had cases of poor management between coordinators and area managers. This lead to often being verbally reprimanded for following instructions from management. That and demanding work culture expecting full commitment made it a construction company like any other. They want to come across as a large business and micromanage with procedures that are not well enough developed to be coherent.

What was once a great company to work for with many benefits is now a corporation like any other.   Current management is very poor and sucking up is favored far above hard work.  Poor work/life balance, competitive pay, great workers. Very sad to see such a great company lose sight of what made it great in the first place through arrogant mismanagement.

It's definitely not the worst place to work, probably one of the better places I've worked, though that was less to do with the way it was managed as it was to do with the people I worked with.
HR will lie to your face during your interview to get you to commit, well they don't really stop lieing after that actually.
You won't move up without some sort of boot licking, but if you're just looking for a paycheck that's not a big deal.

The company after being there for year went through company wide layoffs. They told me that they were happy with my work ethic and that I was on the rehire list. After a few months I called them and they told me things were picking up and would be calling me back in the near future. Another 2 months goes by and nothing. I call them and same thing. Another 2 months and see there hiring for my position. Then they would not return my calls.

Management expects their worker to follow their directions but does not follow through by informing anyone what those are. 
The bottom line is what guides them, not caring for their employees.
No sick leave benefits, vacation is paid out at ever end of each year. And no vision benefits. When the heat broke in the building they still expected people to work in 0 degree temp, and made no effort to keep them warm.

Worked with RET for about 2 1/2 years. Moved up through the organization quickly and was given more responsibility as I earned it. The management cared about your personal well being that made you want to do the best job possible. I left to travel, but would go back to RET in a second if given the opportunity.

I’ve been on various projects with Rising Edge both as an employee and with an other company on the same site. Great crews, which is a big deal when out of town. Very helpful even as a competitor, which says a lot about the organizations core beliefs. I’d recommend working there. Every company has their own issues but at least with Rising Edge it’s about finding a solution rather than blaming others.
