PSW’s and nurses and fantastic, the management doesn’t listen to PSW or nurse concerns and usually leaves us so short handed on weekends people miss breaks. They have allowed so many behaviour residents into the home it’s a good day if you don’t get hit or punched. Management won’t do anything about residents physically and mentally abusing staff (cognitive people) they won’t come on the floor and see how it really is.  We get absolutely ruined by residents on a daily basis. 

The pay is ok. Full time lines available almost immediately. I met a few nice co-workers who were supportive and enjoyed working as a team, but those were few and far between and most of them have left. Mostly they ignore you even with repeated calls for help with lifts. Managment knows but doesn't do anything about it. Toxic environment. 

The staff here are wonderful, but the constant screaming and yelling out from the residents is a tough pill to swallow day in and out and especially working mostly 3 staff for 40 residents.  I can't recommend working here until the Government provides enough funding to hire the appropriate staff ratio to care for our elderly. nuihsdhgwkejndhdc scAS XNB KLSGCVFWVDH

As far as the work and the staff, this place is great. As far as the pay and management, as well as the union SEIU, the Ritz leaves much to be desired. You will be doing the work of 2-3 people and do not expect a raise for well over 1 year. Also was lied to about several perks in my interview.

Pay is a joke, management is incompetent, building filled with nothing but new grads all with less than 1 month of experience which makes it tough to work. Hire people in bunches of 20, within 3 months only a handful remain.

Difficult transitions with multiple management changes. 12 hour shifts for RNs, scheduled to work 7 days out of 14.

Wonderful supportive team members who are resident focused.  Many coworkers are willing to assist in any way they can to ensure resident safety and well being

- Lots of hours if you want to work them.

Helpful staff and co-workers, enjoyed my time there. Lots of activities for residents to attend and enjoy. Flexible work hours. Competitive wages and benefits.

It's okay. I had a good experience for the most part. They failed to tell me that I was still in my probationary period for two years and never raised my rate of pay
