Work gets finish on time but quality of work is very poor quality and half of it does not even pass code. places with drop ceiling would be a rats nest of wires and terrible pipe bending work from their best guys. I wouldn't hired them or work for them.

pros - get away with sloppy work and not passing code fairly easily unless inspector catches it. makes your job task go quicker to please company. terrible thing to do but all the veterans there do it so your left we almost no choice.

cons - they have a small circle of guys that been there awhile that take longer breaks, play on phones, take smoke breaks during work hours. They protect eachother and throw eveyone else under the bus to ensure they don't get layed off.

What is the best part of working at the company?
direct supervisors are really good to work for/with prety social/friendly work enviroment 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
occasional long hours, and co-ordinating with other contractors

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
at worker and supervisor level its a great work enviroment; but main managment is very unfriendly; your just a number to them. and they will very redilly replace you with under the guise of " layoff's"

The Foreman was Awesome the wages competitive. Piping, pulling wire, installing devices, typical commercial work. Hardest part of the job was working outside in the winter doing the slab work. Most enjoyable part of the job was hanging with the guys. Management seemed fine, didn’t interact with them beyond the initial  interview. 

I worked with Rivercity and since times are bad they for sure take advantage of you.., low wages, DIRTY lunch rooms, lies, telling you, you will go to another job but really only there to help them finish one..
Their own “electricians” putting 27 wires in a 11/10 box... or 3 neutrals with a set.
Not very well maintained.

The guys here were all positive to work with, all of different personalities and characters. Its a very team-oriented place and if any help was ever need there was always one more more guys to help things go as smooth as possible. 

Really enjoyed working with River City, was just very disappointing and surprised to be let go when there was no work. But unfortunately that's just the industry. Company is good to work for, great management but unfortunately not good for job security.

Very good company to work for. Most foreman are knowledgeable and very eager to teach. Good work environment, really enjoyed working here. At the site I was working on we also got free lunches every second friday.

it was a great place to work , the guy's were easy to get along with , wired up suites ,  mounted panels , wired panels, pulled feeds to suites , had a chance to learn new things , ran a lot of bx , mounted boxes , i would say it was the best company i've ever worked for .

great people, very good job lots of learning opportunities and they really explained all situations well. management was good but if they wanted you to have safety courses you would have to give your time but they paid the registration

It was very good experience with river city . They always respected my wish not to go out of town. If company is not busy they find job with other company as a loaner. So i prefer river city electrical company.
