RnR Wellness Spa

Overall the people I worked with were wonderful, it is a very clean tidy and relaxing facility. They have very high standards as they should for being in such a prestigious hotel, any issues with co workers and clients is handled very professionally. 
Management and being able to have a work life balance was what I struggled with the most. I was paying for classes every week for a personal event and was unable to attend due to management being uncooperative at removing that one day a week off my schedule. Took 3 months and threatening to leave RnR (short staffed at the time) before I was able to attend my classes. I missed out on a lot from those classes and the lack of care they had for me having a personal life was something I found unnaceptable.

I hope they've since improved and are more accomodating to those needing to change their schedules for personal reasons.

What is the best part of working at the company?
They are not organize and there are like 5 managers and about 10 front desk  personnel, the table massage are very old they take 175 dollars for 1 hour massage but they pay to RMT ONLY 40 dollars, look like one star hotel services due to uncleanliness of the rooms and never washed the blankets 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part are due to a lack of organization the RMT schedule changes without knowledge and sometimes they don’t have the towels and tables sheets clean on time for the services,

Tense ambiance and conflictive

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I worked full time and I had been there always 1/2 hour before my schedule starts to prepare the room to my clients

What is the best part of working at the company?
The pay is ok for spa and the tips are average

Everything. Total disorganization and staff are catty.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Garbage. This place is garbage put your head down and do your job and try not to get totally disillusioned about spa.

Full, busy, hunting down supplies, work hard go hone

Everyone helps each other and it is a supportive team environment. RNR does their best to ensure everyone has a happy work-life balance and that all of the staff's concerns are addressed and dealt with. Management values honesty and concerns are responded to in a timely manner. Everyone is very understanding and it is a positive work environment. They value their relationships and everyone's mental and physical health. I appreciate everyone I work with and the relationships I've built. 

There isn't enough room for me to write just how HORRIFIC this place is to work. The management is a joke, they gossip about staff to other staff and even make fun of the owner who seemed to me like a nice lady but I wasn't around enough to know how everyone was so terrified of her. Mangers would implement rules about phones but FACETIME there husbands/boyfriends all around the spa. You guys are a joke be better humans. Its no wonder you're always hiring.

I love working here! I had other options, but chose to grow with RnR Wellness, because they place their value in their people.  Management has an open door policy, and truly cares about their staff.  The staff itself are amazing and talented.  There is a high work standard, but you are given the training to reach those standards.  I picture myself here for many years to come.

That place can be the best for work, but management think only to have millions therapist available but don't care if you are booked or not.
You must be good in gossip with front desk if you wanna make sure that you going to get some clients. They expect to do a sells and not thinking about treatment but in the same time expect to provide the best treatment in the town.

If you are starting out your career in massage therapy, this is a great place to gain lots of experience and work with different clientele. They don't provide benefits and schedules can be difficult but other than that, it's pretty good.

Management's are joke. They are overhead with ideas and "wanna" do things but actually they don't do anything about their contractors RMT. They just wanna have many availability of staff so they can sit on chairs and do nothing. 

Great place to work! I would highly recommend working there. Not only are you able to develop personally, but professionally as well. There is a lot of wellness focus. Overall, an amazing experience.
