Rogers Cup

My time at Tennis Canada and the 2012 Rogers Cup has been my greatest work experience. I was part of a 'summer sales representative' team and was responsible for contacting previous ticket buyers to renew and/or up-sell their previous purchase.

When it comes to sales, I learned how to build and maintain relationships with customers, clients, and prospects. I was able to learn how to adapt quickly to different people's wants and needs in order to make sure that they were getting the best experience within their budget.

My co-workers and management have been among the best people I've ever worked with. I found the work environment to be very professional. The management team was encouraging and provided lots of mentoring to help expand my skills and knowledge.

The most challenging part of the job would have been adapting to different personalities and demographics constantly. However, it did not take long for me to adapt quickly and effortlessly.

Overall, my experience at Tennis Canada proved to be invaluable. I thought my confidence prior to this job was quite high, however I'm suprised on how much further it progressed.

A typical day at work was a combonation of fast past intervals and very slow paced intervals.  Everyday after completing one shift I would do another as a runner.  Being a runner allowed to me to do a variety of jobs such as, waste disposal, serving, delivering and clean up. It  was a good experience because I was able to literally do a little bit of everything. I would reccomend working this event.

In general as usual at workplace everyone is a team player working together and getting the job done as the expectation need to be done.
I stronger agree at any workplace is the same.
This it will be a once in a life time great opportunity for me to get to know how the Rogers Cup game and also a great experience to explore.
I look forward to this event.

I enjoyed my time working for the tournament. It helped me be more responsible, teamwork, group leadership being responsaible for a department. I had to mame sure I always had enough stock, cooked and also raw to be able to last my day, or the next few days. In the chance of missing any product, I had to make an order.

Was a security guard and escort for the tennis players participating in the tournament.

Mostly students, over all its a great time as long as you don't mind long hours.
